Our Verdict
Good chance to try out these services now. The Music freebie is more common, but the Audible Premium is quite a steal if you’re eligible. Didn’t work for me on one account of mine but did work on another.
You can check the link above to see if you are eligible. Note: As soon as you click ‘Try It Now’ your trial begins. Some people will see the 3 month trial and others will only see a one month trial. If you see as in the screenshot above that should mean you have the 3 month trial.
Also note, you can immediately go to this link to cancel the Music Unlimited subscription and this link to cancel Audible. You can cancel right away and still keep the 3 month trial. Or set yourself a reminder to reevaluate before the monthly fee becomes due.
1/2. Both accounts have subscribed to Audible previously.
Amazon… no thank you!
Denied on my end 🙁
I’m eligible, thank you for posting!
Not sure if Audible Premium is worth it but I can assure that Audible Plus is quite literally the least valuable subscription service I’ve ever had. I could not find ANYTHING of value to listen to on this outside of one special Michael Lewis offering. His other books, including those that were decades old, were not included nor were any other best sellers or anything I could recognize. Basically all it offered was podcasts that you can get for free literally everywhere else or ancient books that are in the public domain. It’s literally a scam for $7.95.month. I get great value from my library’s online services and encourage folks to use that instead. Happy reading/listening!
Yeah I wouldn’t pay for audible plus. But Audible Premium gives you 1 free audio book per month. There is a vast selection of audio books available. So 3 months free of premium is 3 audio books.
I got this confusing wording for my Audible membership. “Your next billing date is 11/04/2021 or at the end of your free trial”
I signed up for the 3 month trial and never had one before, So did I get 3 months for free or am I being charged starting from 11/4? Thanks!
I received three months on each. Weirdly enough, when I tried canceling the Audible Plus sub, it would only let me keep one month (end of the billing period) and not until the end of the trial.
I’m eligible for the offer. But not sure if it’s really worth it. Seems meh.
only received 30 days but I just do it for the audiobook credits.
There’s also an Amex offer for 6 months free of audible plus.
