Deal has ended, view more U.S. Mint deals by clicking here.
There is yet another profitable U.S. Mint coin deal coming up this Tuesday 12 noon (ET). There are two coins available:
- Morgan 2021 Silver Dollar PHILADELPHIA (P) for $85, limit 3
- Peace 2021 Silver Dollar PHILADELPHIA (P) for $85, limit 3
If you’re able to purchase all six coins (three of each) your total cost will be $510. You should be able to lock in a deal with a coin buyer for $200+. I always recommend locking a deal in before the coins go on sale with a reputable buyer to avoid any risk. Others prefer to take a risk and see what the coins resale for at a later date.
Similar to the Morgan Coin deal, these won’t ship until October. Your card won’t be charged until then either, so make sure to use a card that will still be open (or something like PayPal key). You can see what credit cards code as a cash advance and the best cards to use here.

Has anyone gotten their $100 loyalty bonus from PFS for completing all of the Morgan deals with them? I am still waiting for mine.
Contacted them about this. They sent the bonuses automatically to those who fulfilled all 3 deals. If you opted in for 3 but were only able to get 2, you can contact them and they will manually send you the bonus.
Has anyone doing a deal with Pinehurst got delayed in payment? My check was said to be sent on 11/12 but I have not received it today (11/26). Pinehurst says it is a postal delay that affects a lot of customers
My payment for the Morgan/Peace Dollar deal was also somewhat delayed. They say they mailed the check on 11/15, and I finally received it yesterday (11/27).
I have done 3 previous deals with them before this one, and none had been delayed for that long. My thinking is that they’re bogged down with the sheer number of purchase orders they received for this particular deal, as it seems to have been very popular.
To be fair, I believe the email says to allow for up to 3 weeks for payment delivery, so I’d give it a few more days at least. You’ll probably get it in the next day or 2.
Thank you Mark. A little relieved to know it seems to be a genuine delay. I was anxious as my other USPS first mails have been arriving pretty fast—took like 2 days from post mark to mailbox for a mail from Chicago area to get to Utah
My coins from this deal were delivered to Pinehurst on 11/3, but I haven’t received a confirmation yet. It seems unusual to me because for the two other packages I sent recently, I received the confirmation on the third business day and the check a few days later. I’m wondering if I should contact them.
Same situation here. I have coins delivered on 10/27 and 11/3 that haven’t been confirmed. 11/1 coins were confirmed on 11/4. Sent them an email 3 business days ago; no response so far.
FedEx confirmed delivery of coins 11/3. I received a “ Your purchase order with Pinehurst Coins is complete.” message on 11/10. I’ve been keeping them updated on Processing / Backorder status and they’ve been very responsive via email: contact at pinehurstcoins dot com
Update: Received confirmation today.
Update: Received confirmation 11/11 and check was in the mail yesterday.
Anyone got their echeck from PFS yet for these? Some folks I talk to are sitting at 10+ days now since they requested their check, and still nothing
nvm, getting reports that people are getting paid on the 7th business day after they requested their echeck. Seems like they are still in business, just slower than before.
My came after 4 business days
Paypal took two days from request. I am still waiting for my $100 bonus for completing three deals though.
Update – was told it would take a couple weeks for the bonus.
Have you gotten this yet? I am still waiting.
My package of 6 coins sent to Pinehurst has been “delivered and available at PO Box” since the 4th.
What? Pinehurst does not have a PO Box address, and what about the signature confirmation that I paid for? No email from Pinehurst that my shipment has been received either. Maybe they’re dealing with such high volume that there’s a backlog of incoming shipments?
Gotta say, the stress of having high-value merch floating around in the postal system is just not for me. Will look elsewhere for spend opportunities in the future.
It is nerve-racking. I sent mine in via USPS last week. Tracking showed “out for delivery” but was never delivered that day. I can’t even tell you how many times I refreshed the tracking page. Tracking then switched to delayed the following day and later magically showed it was delivered to the PO box the previous day. I don’t know how it ended up in a PO box when it was shipped to a street address. Anyway I did get a payment confirmation from pinehurst after 3 business days so it all worked out. I locked in the price at its very peak so I would still say it was worth it but I will definitely weigh the risk vs. reward next time. (if there is next time with the silver market starting to cool off.) Might have to start using their $60 shipping label and factor that into the cost.

Update: Received confirmation of payment today for the 21XE/21XH purchase order.
Contacted Pinehurst a few days ago via email and they explained there was a sizeable receiving backlog that was slowing down processing the purchase orders, which I guess is understandable.
This makes me 4 for 4 on successful transactions with Pinehurst so far. I may still consider future transactions if I have a MSR to meet.
My coins were delivered to the warehouse yesterday morning, but it hasn’t shown up on the Pointsmaker website yet. How long should I wait before sending an email about it?
I was charged the 1st order of 3x coin, but than 2nd and than both shipped (label/shipped on Thursday 10/28 and I got it today on 10/29). These 6 coins came in 2 package (one for peace, one for morgan) but arrived the same day.
Both order is no longer in my pending or anywhere on my credit card but 100% sure it’ll appear later. I had a PO from Pinehurst back in Oct 13th when it was $150 per coin (after seeing it drop from $160 compare to a few days ago), and locked in a price on that. Asked Pinehurst if they will honor, and they will at this time. I’ll ship it out tomorrow, and should be in there hand by beginning of Nov 2nd.
Another great deal. Now, I should make it my goal to get in on all DoC coin deal and not hesitant. Yet to go wrong with any dealer or it not being honor (Minshull, Common Sense, and Pinehurst). And Glad that Pinehust made this site to see price of coin. https://usmint.pinehurstcoins.com/

Am currently travelling overseas and therefore won’t be able to honor any must-receive-by dates set by the buying groups. Might even miss the return window for sending back to US Mint.
I see that e.g. you can still create a PO on Pinehurst for the 21EMN coin (which I had cancelled with the US Mint before my travels), even though those coins seem to have been initially overvalued too and buying groups were cancelling orders (see other DoC thread): https://usmint.pinehurstcoins.com/21emn/
So, people with more experience in this market, should I worry of losing money on this or rather expect to sell the coin at some later date at least for the original purchase cost?
What’s my best plan once I get back to the States in a few weeks?
Mine just shipped out (tracking info isn’t working yet though). have a PO with PFS for 660, hopefully that still works?
660 for 6 coins?
Yup, that’s what they offered. They accepted my order, they haven’t paid yet but did acknowledge receipt.
How long did it take for the acknowledgement receipt?
Mine are arriving tomorrow, but I have not yet been charged. Anyone else see this before?
