FYI for anyone (like me) who forgot to “Claim” the reward within 30 days of it being issued. ($1200 reward was showing as “Expired”)

I messaged them via chat, and quoted the paragraph of the offer terms about “not need[ing] to take any additional actions to accept or claim their accrued Offer Rewards.”

They forwarded my request to the promos team, and they re-issued my Offer Reward. (Still needed to be “claimed” but at least I didn’t lose out on $1200!) Kinda BS that the Terms of the offer are self contradictory, but at least they made it right.

Thanks so much to DoC for keeping this page up since the official Offer Terms page is no longer present on Webull’s website. (And thanks for including a direct link to the original Terms page, since I was able to pull it up via Wayback Machine.) I definitely wouldn’t have been able to get the reward reissued without DoC’s page here. Huge thanks!

That’s wild that you could forget to claim 1200 bucks.

Hi Mark,

I am in the same boat. By any chance, you can send me an email to xiaoyu.ivy@gma i l.com Did they ask you about the screenshot? Thank you so much for your help.

They did not ask about any screenshots. I’m sure they have the official terms of the offer still on their side and that’s what I quoted from verbatim. So it would be easy enough for them to validate what I claimed.

That being said, I can send you the screenshots/links to the Wayback Machine if you need them. Lmk.

Chuck the link to this offer seems dead. It is listed on the best brokerages page.

I initiated a partial ACAT out on 2/23

Did the partial ACAT transfer go well? Any transfer fee charged? Thanks.

Webull always charges a $75 fee for ACAT transfers out, even partial transfers (at least, for accounts that used Apex Clearing; I haven’t tried a transfer out of their new omnibus account). My partial ACAT transfer into Schwab from Webull Apex worked fine; took 6 days.

Is there a holding period or are we free to transfer out and/or close? What are others doing? Thanks

Anyone transfer out yet? Planning to do partial transfer out to chase the next bonus.

@mod — Given that the reward earned has to be claimed by end of Feb (it doesn’t get credited automatically), I think a PSA/update would be useful.

My negative DP.
Transferred ACAT 100k to WeBull in time
Got some dividends from the ETF, and transfer them out(1k).
01/30/23 – got only 300$ bonus, appears that they deducting it from Net Asset.
Customer service refused to do anything about it, seems like I have to accept the loss(seems like misunderstanding of their shady terms).

Anyone had similar experience, and Finra was helpful with that(worth trying)?…

Doubt it, the terms are pretty clear:
Qualifying Customers who make a net incoming Account Transfer(the value of cash and securities transferred to Webull less withdrawals or transferred as of January 29th 2024 11:59 PM ET)…
Did you transfer exactly 100k? You should always leave some margin for errors/unexpected fees, and triple check the terms if you’re going to make withdrawals during the holding time for any kind of bonus, not just brokerages. Nowhere does it say maintaining a 100k min. daily balance is necessary or sufficient. Wells on the other hand will penalize you if your value drops to a lower tier due to market fluctuations. Goldman’s annual Marcus bonus (which doesn’t seem available this year) will not let you withdraw below your balance on the final day of your deposit window, even if the total deposits are made are still higher than the minimum 10k.

Yes, this is also a good reminder for people who did both the transfer and cash management bonuses together. Let’s say you moved in $100k to qualify for both, you should not pull out the $1,200 bonus because it would move your tier down for the cash management bonus that does not pay out for a few more months.

Nothing wrong with the person above trying to appeal to customer service, but definitely a good learning lesson for them that most of these promotion are based simply on deposits vs withdrawals and the actual changing of account value typically does not matter.

How do you qualify for both cash management and brokerage bonus? As I understand you need to do an ACAT transfer for brokerage bonus?

If you transferred cash with the ACAT for transfer bonus then according to customer service that cash would also count towards the cash management bonus.

Not a fan of raising a big stink and filing complaints when you didn’t even follow the terms of the promotion (for the tier you wanted to achieve).
