Again and again I see poor value of delta miles. Need to be very flexible and alert to get any value from these miles. No way you get decent fare when you actually need it

FWIW, there seems to be a very limited coach award sale to Europe on UA. I haven’t seen it advertised. Is there a way to do a multi-city award search on UA? What I’ve found so far by hunting and pecking are some cheaper flights (around 20K) FROM EWR to LHR in early spring, and some cheap RETURN flights from BCN to IAD in spring and fall (starting at 17K). It’s certainly nice to see discounts on the transatlantic flights from the East Coast, because the standard 30K coach award tends to be a bad redemption price if it’s not summer.
I found round trips as low as 7K between FLL-JFK. Unfortunately I already have a trip booked the week before the sale date starts where I got a great discount on a hotel in NYC.
Very small windows for Europe flights, around a week for each destination.
