This is the best version of this offer, it’s on Visa gift cards and it’s the full $15 instant discount rather than just $10. Currently there is a $10 off Mastercard deal. Use a card that earns at a high rate on office supply stores to maximize this. You can also use Visa SavingsEdge to get another 10% back on Visa business cards (up to $5 per card), some people haven’t been getting this to work but it’s worth trying fi you’re using a Visa business card anyway.
Best options are the $200 gift cards which come with a $6.95, two of those will cost you $413.90 and you come out $1.10 ahead before you even take into account credit card rewards.

Purchased 2 variable $200 and still got the deal on Quiksilver card and it worked…I tried a couple days ago and it wouldn’t go through. Capital One fraud dept called me and I told them to shove it and put a note on my account that I was gonna spend $400 at Office Depot so should help go towards $3K spend for the promo bonus they targeted me for.
I’m curious if VGC at OD/OM would count towards MSR for Amex SPG. I have only $800 left to fill up, but don’t want to risk it in case it doesn’t count. Could someone kindly answer this please?

I went in to a local store today however was told that I can only buy the $200 variable ones in CASH, however I can buy $100 ones with a credit card. Shady.
I went to OD and could buy $800 worth of VGC’s ($200 *4), in two separate transactions on the same visit. The clerk did not blink an eyelid and did 2 separate transactions one by one.
He also said that I should become a OD club member, since that will get me 2% back even on these cards? Is that correct?
Is it safe to use for the US Bank Flexperks card to meet spend? I know the Altitude isn’t.

Tried two stores today in Austin; both enforcing 1 transaction limit; one of them was pretty open that I can come by tomorrow for more, though. 🙂
I also was declined at one WM using DE but another one accepted it. There was a different payment pad at the two so I wonder if that made a difference.
You’re lucky that you found one that works. No WM works for me for DE.
It appears that the Neighborhood Market and Super Centers will usually accept DE, but the regular WM does not.
