Requirements are easy to meet, but with basic savings account rates as high as 4.35% I’m not sure this is worth considering.
Did a dummy application to see if if they accept CC funding for CD. That is one option they give in the online application. Currently 3-month CD is at 4% APY

Monday, April 8 – they are doing a 1 day cd special 8% for 4 months in up to $2,400. Not worth the effort to go to the branch, but if already have an account and the funds there could call and sign the documents online.
Just got an email today checking account rate is now 3% effective June 1 (yesterday)
Rate is back up to 5%.
This week only, the Grandview branch is offering a 7 month CD at 7% – limited to $2,500
I’m a little surprised nobody tried this one.
