Update 1/6/2020: Deal has been extended until 3/31/2020. Hat tip to reader BlissfulApathy
Update 10/3/19: Some people are reporting that they are able to open this account outside of the states listed. Reader Erik called in and they told him that this would be officially rolling out in 3-6Â months. Not sure if you can actually sign up now or not, if anybody gives it a go let us know in the comments. In addition some states are now showing a bonus of $400 that requires a deposit of $10,000 for the first 3 statement cycles.
Update 10/2/19: Deal has been extended until December 31st, 2019
Update 7/6/19: Deal is back until September 30th, 2019
Update 4/8/19: Deal is back until June 30th, 2019. Deal is slightly better than before as you can open a regular business checking bonus to get the $200 bonus. Because of that I now recommend doing this bonus because we haven’t seen a larger bonus for a long time. I’ll add this to our list of the best business checking bonuses.
Update 1/6/19: Bonus is back and valid until March 31st, 2019. Highest bonus is $200, keep in mind we’ve seen PNC bonuses as high as $400 before (same requirements as now, but an extra $100 per level and the higher level also available). Unfortunately doesn’t look like this is nationwide

Our Verdict
Update 2: Given we haven’t seen the $300 bonus for a long time and it’s now easier to do the $200 bonus I’m going to recommend doing this one again.
Update: Not sure if it’s still worth waiting considering it’s been two years since we’ve seen that higher bonus.
They had the same promotion last year, but every bonus was $100 higher. Personally I’d just recommend waiting until that offer comes back as PNC usually cycles between a high and low offer like this and the promotion is literally the same except this is $100 less across all three promotions. You can view a full list of the checking bonuses we do recommend here.

Open this at the beginning of the month AND immediately deposit $5000. I didn’t get the bonus because for one month (based on average daily balance) was $4800 or something stupid.
You gotta take into consideration when that first statement cycle ends and the amount needed to avg $5k for the rest of that cycle (depending on when you make your deposits). My statement cycles lined up with the end of the month, so I did the math and deposited a little more than $5k to make up for the first 5 days I missed. Then I dropped back down to $5k for the next two cycles.
Yup. Now I know. I got burned so I know now. I’m gonna cancel my account and I’ll try again in six months.
landing page now shows 200/500 offers, offers extended to 9/30/20 William Charles
3/2 – opened business checking account in-branch
3/5 – deposited $5,000+
3/12 thru 3/13 – 20x $0.50 Amazon reloads
4/24 – 2x bill pays to myself ($1 and $2)
6/15 – $15 Online Billpay Promo posted
6/19 – $200 Ach Credit ID New Bus Bonus Credits posted
Now I’ll just keep $500 in the account until I can close in October.
I contacted them about opening this account. I applied online and they state they will contact me in 5 business days. They contact me and state I have to do this in the branch. I do have a personal account with them. In branch only and by the way they really are not interested in setting this up in any way. . Screw them
I would like to know about your DP 🙂
I would like to know about your DP 😀
I’m unable to enter city of residence on multiple browsers with Adblock turned off – anyone else having this problem (and able to solve it?)
FYI, regarding the average cycle balance requirement, if your first statement cycle has less than 28 days (e.g. if you opened April 10 and the first statement closed April 30), then they will use cycles 2, 3, and 4 to see if you qualify for the bonus, if you didn’t meet the requirement on cycle 1. Basically, they give you the benefit of the doubt if you’re a bit slow setting things up after account opening. Just got this confirmed from a CSR because my first statement was only 23 days (looks like they close at end of month).
I haven’t received my bonus yet. I met the requirements cycles 2, 3, and 4 since my 1st cycle was less than 28 days. Thanks for the information! Did you receive yours?
Did you get your PNC bonus?
Nope. My 1st month, apparently, I only had a daily balance if $4800 because I deposited 5k during the 1st week.
Lame.
I am unable to find the 400 offer, who can give a list of (select states only)
Thank you
Just to confirm that Business account has nothing to do with Personal account right?
In terms of being eligible for a bonus, no, they are separate.
I received an email from PNC yesterday about earning $15 by using their online bill pay. Not sure if this is targeted or eligible to every PNC Business checking customer.
