Our Verdict
Drinks not included again this year. These passes can be incredible value if you’re happy to eat at the same place over and over again during an 8/52 week period. I’m sure the 52 week passes will be almost impossible to purchase. Some restaurants even let you do take out orders if you order too much food, but that varies by restaurant. I’m sure some readers will go for this deal, so goodluck to them!
Not sure if I got it or not. Went through the checkout process, got a confirmation (and later a confirmation email) yet I noticed in my haste that I mis-typed my last name on the payment info. I’ll bet the cc company will deny the transaction.
Looks like I might be in. No cancellation notices and the charge appeared on my cc account on the app. I was half hoping it would be denied, buyers remorse and all. Do I really want to eat at Olive Garden often enough to make this a bargain? I guess I’ll see…
So: YAY! I guess.
In these comments: people unaware that pasta costs like $1 per pound. A typical serving of pasta is half a pound. Do the math.
You’d have a point if they were just offering naked pasta. This deal includes sauce, meat topping, salad or soup, breadsticks. All unlimited.
You can say that about just about any food. It’s a business, of course the mark up is huge.
Crazy. More than 2,000 people per MINUTE signed up for this right at opening bell.
I was there right at the very second it opened…nothing.
Maybe notable is the fact that the buy button for the 365 day pass remained a few seconds after…I anticipated the 8 week pass would actually sell out first…oh well, I’ll live.
Nuts. I kept refreshing the offer page linked here instead of pastapass.com. Sold out by the time I figured it out.
I’m not sure I understand what it means by never ending. Do you get as much as you can eat in a sitting or is it just never ending in that you can go as many times as you want but only get one plate each time?
Both
FYI, Olive Garden has no “buffet-style” dining options. All your food is brought to you by a waiter, including anything “never ending”.
“Never ending” comes with caveats, of course. Each refill of salad or soup your server brings you will either be smaller or saltier than the last. Soup and salad costs OG $$, after all.
Can someone please make a “Supersize Me” type documentary on this and see if your blood is really 99% alfredo sauce if you eat at Olive Garden every day for a year??
Already done this guy holds the record. 140 visits on the 8 week pass and he LOST weight.

Lol will this come with free Liptor 8 week prescription ?
actually got two of these last year — and while it was fun initially, we later much regretted it. (Our nearest OG is an hour away, and while we travel a lot, when you figure in the cost of a reasonable tip for a $30 meal, plus the travel costs to get there, plus the serious strain on the health each time you eat there, and then the boredom factor… for us, was not worth it…… except on second thought, we have added a few variations to our home cooking…. 🙂 )
Should call it the early grave pass or the thirst inducing pass.
For anyone who gets either deal, I also recommend a gym membership.
But seriously though. A single breadsticks+soup+salad+pasta bowl meal can run you many more calories than you need in a day.
