• Open a checking account with Royal Bank America before January 1st and receive a $100 Amazon gift card when you complete the following requirements:
  • Maintain a $500 minimum monthly balance for 180 calendar days

The Fine Print

• $500 minimum deposit required to open.
• Opening deposit must be money not currently on deposit with Royal Bank. Eligible with Free Checking, Interest Checking, and Prime Checking accounts opened between Nov. 21 and Dec. 31, 2016.
• Available to residents of PA, NJ, and DE.
• Customer must maintain a $500 minimum monthly balance for 180 calendar days or the account will be charged the ($100) value of the gift card.
• Participating customers who neither maintain the $500 minimum monthly balance nor pay for the cost of the gift card will be reported to Early Warning Systems.
• Delivery: Participating customers will receive a promotional code for an electronic gift card via email within five business days. Avoiding Fees

Best account to open would be the free checking account as this account has no monthly account service fees. You need to keep the account open for 180 days to avoid losing the bonus.

Our Verdict

This seems like a super easy bonus to get, just deposit $500 and you get a $100 Amazon gift card and only need to maintain that balance for 180 days. It’s even better if you can combine it with the other $60 offer (although the requirements for that are much more difficult). Only downside is that it looks like the account must be opened in branch, that being said if it’s a soft pull then we will be adding this to our best account bonus page.
