Deal has ended, view more bank account bonuses by clicking here
Update 6/13/20: Deal is back and valid until August 16th, 2020. Slightly better than before as fewer requirements for the same bonus. Most recent DP says soft pull, but previous datapoints say hard so YMMV. Hat tip to reader Ki

The Fine Print
- To qualify, you must be a new TruMark Financial checking accountholder.
- Credits will be posted within 120 days of account opening.
- Limited time offer.
- Cannot be combined with any other offers.
- Offer subject to change or cancelation without notice.

- Business accounts not eligible.
- Offer does not apply to persons who closed a TruMark Financial checking account within the last 12 months

Avoiding Fees
All of their checking products qualify for this promotion. We’d recommend opening the basic account as there is no monthly fee and no minimum monthly balance requirement. There is an account closure fee of $5 if the account is closed within 90 days of opening, but you’ll need to keep the account open for longer than that anyway to get the bonus.
Our Verdict
Update: Now that it is a hard pull I wouldn’t recommend this bonus as you’d be able to get a much higher credit card sign up bonus.
Pretty good bonus as you can get a lot of it without a direct deposit, there are no monthly fees to worry about and you can fund with a credit card. Because of that we’ve added it to our best checking bonus page.
Big thanks to reader, Doug who let us know. Please consider sharing bank bonuses with this site so we can make it even better.

Not seeing the offer with the link, but applied and approved for the membership with soft pull anyway, as the graph here shows “special offer for members.” Still no offer shows though. William Charles
I don’t see the offer on their website (:-
I’ve opened 2 accounts with them in the fall both were definitely soft.
BTW was a pain, they really want real DD. I did Cap one, another CU, paypal, cash app, postmates none of them counted. I had chat conversations with them to prove they told me I met the requirements but had to submit a complaint with um, whatever that banking org is? I forget. Sympathetic person on phone pushed it thru probs just bc it was covid-time.
There’s a public offer for “21,300 CURewards points worth $150 in gift cards” when signing up for a checking account, plus a 7mo CD paying 7%apy on up to $2,500. Limited to one CD per person
I received a paper mailer, but these offers are clearly public and available at http:/trumark.com/better
Tried funding with Amex SPG Biz which was rejected. Successfully funded with Citi Doublecash though I got a fraud alert and had to retry later in the day
I tried Amex Everyday Card and says ” Credit Card authorization failed, please enter valid Credit Card information”. Chat with agent says that they charged Amex as cash advance.
I confirmed with them when I did this in the fall that amex no longer works with the processor they are using. V/MC for sure, not sure about Disc.
Note that the new offer doesn’t appear to require any DD, just 10x debits by July 31st
hard pull here
Trumart hit me with a hard inquiry… ugh.

Updated post.
Thanks! Chat agent said there would be a soft pull and credit-card funding is unlimited, but I applied, and it limited me to $1000 total for accounts on CC. Visa, MC, Amex, and Discover accepted. It is pending as a purchase for me with Chase. No hard pull notice sent to me, and I was instantly approved.
Note that Philadelphia is included in the counties here. Finally something on the east side of PA.
