Tried to apply use on existing account no joy – but was going to cancel for next two months as we will be out of country and was just going to wait till a new code came out when we returned.

But they offered me two free months. Was offered free months to keep 1-2x earlier this year on top of a bunch of Amex offers free month offers and I think I did a free month code.

I think until they close the deal they will try to keep subscriber levels. – BUt would have done the $5/mo as I probably watch Paramount+ (ad free the most) We have Prime, Netflix (almost free with T-mo) and Hulu is $18 add free but covered by Amex Plat – but if I ever get a better digital credit or they get rid of it. I would probably churn – as I rarely watch Hulu very much anymore – hate the UI and its hard to keep up or find programs I like on Hulu. Used to love it. (I never counted the Digital credit worth more than $ 2-3 a month vs AF – but I still get more than $695 in value from my Plat).

Showtime for $5 a month isn’t terrible, esp. if you have a couple shows worth watching (Yellowjackets, Gentleman in Moscow)

I’m somehow still on a lifetime free membership, cancelled after one of the monthly free trials but account still remains active. No idea how but it’s been like that for almost 2-3 years now

Same thing happened to me. Luckily I was on the ad free with Showtime. Been waiting for the day it stops. 🙂

By all means, keep mentioning that here every month so that it dies quicker.

Viacom can only brag to investors about having 1/4 of Netflix’s subscriber levels if most of them don’t cancel every month.

It’s probably not going to last much longer anyway if it’s bought out. I had it free with CBS All Access and lost it when it became Paramount Plus.

Imagine paying for something that’s already free.

Why not just get Walmart+ (when it’s on sale) and get Paramount+ that way?

The commercials are obnoxious.

They only had a limited time promo for commercial free.

Why bother paying for either when you can get both for free?

Subscribed earlier today. I’m not interested in CBS programs and will likely only use it to watch soccer, but for $29.99 a year it’s an excellent deal (minus 10%, thanks to a new BMO credit card).

Remember to use the week of free trial, while the subscription automatically renews after one year (at full price) if you don’t cancel.

The soccer available on Paramount+ for the cost is insane.

Try figuring out how much it costs a month, never mind a year, to get access to all that in the UK.

Definitely — the Serie A alone (not to mention the Champions and the other national leagues) will cost you less than $0.08 per game!
