Paypal just sent out an email offer with one of the following versions on their Paypal 2%/3% Cashback Mastercard:

Get double cashback everywhere, that equals 4% anywhere or 6% everywhere when paying with Paypal. Max $50 in bonus cashback can be earned from this offer.
Another version has a flat 4% everywhere (extra 1% on Paypal and extra 2% everywhere else) with the same $50 max bonus cashback.
Another version has $15 cashback when spending $200.
Another version has $10 cashback when spending $100.

Requires activation
Activate by December 18th
Offer can be used until December 20th

Our Verdict

All of these looks like nice easy wins. Seems like ~~most/all~~ many cardholders got one version or another of this spend offer.

Everything since this date still says 2% for me. I just got the same email yesterday (12/1) and “activated” it again. Looking at both emails, there’s no start date language of December 1st, only the end date of 12/20/22

I got these 4% & 6% offer. So far so good. I wish they should put higher max cashback though because I spend more than usual.

Got the double cashback (4%/6%) offer but the link to activate offer doesn’t work on any browser, tried Chrome/incognito mode/Firefox/mobile Chrome (This site can’t be reached/ e.synchronyfinancial.com refused to connect.)

Anyone else run into this? There’s no way to activate this on the Paypal website as far as I can tell.

Can we please get an idea of who gets these offers? That’s nice. I was going to get the Flex. But it’s tempting. This card will be my final all around card After discover it for Cashback.
