Philip In due time, under your rewards tab, you will have pending points totaling 5% of the purchase cost. Unfortunately, it takes like 60 days for the points to settle (my $900+ Best Buy appliance purchase from early September got me over 4600 points. I JUST cashed them out last week after they finally became available to me).

I saw some people claiming it stacks with Paypal debits 5% grocery category for a total of 10%
Dealgamer This is correct. You can get these offers either by using PayPal at checkout with any linked credit/debit card, OR you can get it by using the PayPal debit card directly OR you can get it by using the PayPal credit card directly. The PayPal debit card lets you choose a 5% category each month, one of which is grocery, and Walmart triggers as grocery. So yes, it should double up.

Anyone know what the maximum cashback is on this? I can’t seem to find it on my PayPal page.
Chris No one knows for sure. All we can do is share our experiences.
I purchased $900+ worth from Best Buy, which included an appliance, taxes, install service fee, and removal service fees. It triggered the full 5% of that purchase AOK.

Does this work when purchasing Walmart GCs? Was planning to do this anyway to finish up my PayPal 5x since we’ve got 3 freedoms
DA If the gift card is a physical card to be mailed, or buying a card in store using Walmart Pay, then yes, it’ll trigger no problem when using PayPal as the payment method.
If you are trying e-gift card online, then no. e-Gift cards show up as “Walmart Gift Card” as the charge, and most times does not trigger offers. Walmart physical cards for delivery show as Walmart.com.
Staradmiral Yes. These offers are triggered by the use of PayPal at checkout, regardless of what credit card you use. So just add your Chase card and use PayPal at checkout.

any one know if Amex $250/$25 will be triggered if paid via Paypal using Amex card?
I’m guessing that you’re talking about the Best Buy offer. Typically, merchant specific offers are triggered if you pay via PayPal, but it’s not guaranteed. I believe it’s called out in the terms in some places that if you pay with a third party processor (e.g. Apple Pay, PayPal), that the offer may not trigger based on how the processor codes it. Ditto for category bonuses like restaurants and electronics goods suppliers.
Andrew Yes. These offers are triggered by usage of PayPal at checkout, they are not click-through offers. So you can use your favorite cash back website in conjunction with these offers.
How do you get paid from this offer? I added Walmart and placed an order now it’s disappear from my saved offers. What’s the next?

Rohit Historically, it has triggered no problem. AMEX is one of the cards which passes-through the merchant from PayPal orders.
