I didn’t see Chipooodle… Only DoorDash and Dominos. …. Was this a hot item (or targeted)?

What’s the typical Chipotle deal, 20%? 10%?

  • Maybe they are planning to increase markups and fees further so need people stuck with their GCs so that they can ensure their business once they raise fees…
  • I am done with food delivery apps. The deals are VERY RARELY what I can say is a true ‘Deal’.
  • It is not a ‘deal’ if I am paying higher amount after 60% discount and after wasting substantial time and effort to find these ‘deals’!

To each their own. I agree there aren’t as many door dash deals as there used to be during COVID era but I still get 4-5 great deals a year and that is when I use door dash. I also almost exclusively use pick-up orders to avoid delivery fees. Surprisingly, some restaurants have the same price on door dash and in store so paying 15-20% off by buying the gift card is a plus as well.

Yep – makes complete sense for pickup orders when there is a low market up. However, recently there have been no low markup restaurant around me. I played this game earlier but I realized the wasted time was not worth it for me when there are so many other great moneymaker offers – basically I found the time efficiency of food delivery offers to be worse than even Swagbucks surveys – but I can totally see how these can still be useful for someone based on where they stay
