The Offer
- Peacock Premium is offering 12 months of the ad supported version for $22
Our Verdict
Previously it was $15 for six months. You can try going through a portal as well for another $8 back (won’t work as it’s the Today site). This enrolls you in auto billing as well, so remember to cancel.
Note for anyone with Xfinity internet:
You can get a smart TV device through Xfinity for free (Flex) and it comes with free Peacock (ad-supported).
I ONLY use it to watch this obscure show “A.P. Bio,” and this coming fall, next-day streams of SNL will go to Peacock, not Hulu.
How do they exclude current premium subscribers, as they say in the terms? Like they won’t send you the code? Or you can’t apply the code until your current subscription expires?
I still have one or two months left of an Amex offer.
Thanks for posting this, great deal for a year of Premier league coverage (should include games live that aren’t being broadcast live on TV channels, and hopefully on demand-next day replay for stuff that is/was on live tv).
Per terms “The Code is valid July 26, 2022– October 27, 2022. Code is void if not redeemed by 11:59 PT on October 27, 2022.” Code appears to be TODAY in context. They certainly could pull it early but I doubt it.
This doesn’t work anymore. In addition the Webpage referenced on this page is dead.
2 questions:
-anyone have a DP of it triggering Amex platinum credit?
-can you buy up the no-ad upgrade for $5 a month as usual?
No DP but why wouldnt it trigger it? It should assuming no change to billing/processing
Edit: looks like its processed through a different site so NO. Instead of asking, you could have taken the 1 second to check the site
And Edwin, before misreading all the readers of your comment, you could have done the same. Lay off Celery.
If you fast forward too much even on the Premium subscription, you still get hit with 2-minute ads. At this point, you might as well watch bootlegs on YouTube.
Have this via amex platinum benefit. I cannot find anything to watch. So disappointed in this service, I don’t want to give them someone else’s money. Canceling when I get around to it.
Peacock. An extension of their free TV service-NBC.
Peacock. Only for Two and a Half Men. Only with an Adblock.
Paying for the privilege of watching ads. What a racket.
That’s been cable’s, and satellite’s, business model for decades.
They are also doing a $1 a month for 6 months if you got that email that was sent out a few weeks ago.
I binge watch all the stuff on my watchlist in 6 weeks but there are a few shows that they space out so you have to add to you new watch list for your next binge a thon
The one I got a few weeks ago was 1.99/mo for 6 months
