Original Post:
Pei is yet another card linked loyalty program, similar to Dosh or Spent. You basically link your existing debit or credit cards to the app and then when you make purchases at select merchants you get rewards. As this is a card linked program you get these rewards in addition to the standard credit card points you’d earn and can stack it with other promotions and discounts. The nice thing about Pei is the list of merchants they have on offer:
- 7-11
- Walgreens
- Starbucks
- CVS
- Target
- Panera Bread
- In-N-Out
- Sam’s Club
- Dunkin Donuts
- Domino’s
- Chick-fil-A
You can receive your cash out as either Bitcoin or USD. There is a waitlist for Pei, in the past you’ve been able to bypass this list by signing up in app (still works). You’re limited to earning $5 back per merchant per day and there is a $15 (now $25) cash out minimum.
Referral Program
Pei has a referral program, person signing up receives 250 points and person referring earns the same. Please do not post your referrals in the comments below. Instead share them in this linked post.
William Charles Chuck when I open the Pei app, there is a notice that Pei is shutting down on December 30, 2021. If users have any bitcoin, then need to withdraw their bitcoin by that date.

Anybody unable to see their cashback page? Pei app just quits when I select the leftmost tab
My app won’t open when I try to open the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. I recently requested a cash out to my Bitcoin Wallet (the one on their platform) and now all of a sudden I am having issues. It’s making me think something is up
It has really changed. Not tracking whatsoever. I have emailed service. They stopped responding. Almost deserves a “don’t use them” article. I am seeing negative stuff all over lately about them.
Agree. Most transactions don’t track. I had one hat tracked and then they took away all the points. Customer service hasn’t responded to any of my emails for months. Awful.
App no longer tracks purchases on associated cards. Opened case with support over three weeks ago. No response, no update. Seems like they are just ignoring tickets now. In the past at least they’d update a ticket within 5 days.
Recently changed to an exciting new use model! Tap in app before purchase, with geo location enabled, and no more cash payouts! Wow, I actually need to engage with the app for the free cash — just what I wanted! BTC wallet required for payouts too!
Does anyone still use this? I removed all cards and stopped using last year but now can’t recall why.
new extension for chrome & ref is up to $10 for this weekend
I’m mostly happy with Pei, but good luck if something doesn’t track properly. I had some restaurants listed in Pei as 10% back. Some didn’t track at all, and one only paid 100 points ($1) on a large purchase. I tried opening tickets with their support system, but it’s a disaster. They closed all 3 of my tickets as “solved” hours after I opened them, but did nothing. If you reply to the ticket (which the instructions say to do) it is auto-closed as a duplicate, and instructs you to open a new ticket. I can’t get anywhere.
Does anyone from Pei read this board? Or anyone have any other method of contact?
That’s my experience as well. Worst customer service ever, or should i say no customer service! It’s been 3 months and numerous tickets later but still no response from them. I needed them to update my phone number but after i submitted the necessary documents they just never replied back. Either closed my tickets right away as duplicate or resolved (even though nothing was done) or just plain ignored my ticket with a cookie cutter email saying they are running behind. Really? Still behind after 3 months?? Unbelievable!
To add insult to injury, I finally did get a response: They said that I needed to request missing cash back within 14 days of transaction, and that’s why they closed my tickets. Only problem with this argument is that *I DID* request within 14 days. No matter, all my tickets closed as “solved” with nothing done. I give up.
If one buys a lot on Amazon and others like Walmart and Target (online and offline) is this the best app to get the most cashback?
Did the 12 days of christmas offers track for anyone?
The points for my gas purchase posted today.
