Tried to redeem my points for amazon gc in the morning. The points were taken away from my account, but gc is not available. Click the gc details, only error message showed up “Something went wrong – Error: Cannot read property ‘includes’ or null” error.” It is impossible to get connected to the customer service. Am I out of these points ? 🙁

I just signed up and tried to purchase an Amazon GC and of course I wasn’t able to buy it with a credit card. I then searched for a “Walmart” GC just to rule it out before purchasing a Sam’s GC.
I then saw “WaWa” appear as an option, which I hadn’t even thought of. I immediately purchased that and added the GC to my WaWa Rewards account. Now I don’t have to worry about using a barcode from a print screen.
I received 7500 points. I’m guessing that it sounds a lot better than it actually is!
Anyway, a couple of minutes later (while I was typing this comment), I received the below email from Amex. 😀

How do you use an electronic gift card to buy gas? Scan your phone with the bar code at the pump?
You didn’t ask about an “electronic gift card”. 😉
I’ve used a WaWa physical GC to buy gas. It’s possible that it would work on the app but I’ve never tried it.
Anyway, if you add the WaWa eGC to your Rewards account (like I did), you can call WaWa CS to transfer the balance to a physical WaWa GC, which also has to be connected to your WaWa Rewards account. If you don’t have a physical GC, you can buy 1 at any WaWa for $10 or less.
Has anyone ever gotten a hold of their customer service? If so – how?
I’ve had them do the initial reach out via email and Instagram. But after I state the problem, there’s never a resolution or reply after that. They turned off and deleted comments on Instagram too recently so that method maybe useless too now.
Ive been spamming their email / voice mail everyday for like a few weeks, no response.

Have any of you purchased Sam’s Club GCs from Pepper? If so, after you print it out, does the barcode work fine in Walmart or is it a big issue like it is with the WM GCs that TCB sells?
How were you able to print it? I couldn’t find a way on the web site. On the app, I guess you could do a screen print after viewing the card, but that doesn’t print the pin (at least for cvs). They also don’t seem to have a way to clean up your list of cards after you spend them.
I have never used Pepper. I just assumed that you would be able to print an eGC. That’s ridiculous if you can’t.
Yes, it works fine. I didn’t print, just use directly from the pepper app. Access the giftcard and touch the barcode, it would pop out, scan the bar code. No issues so far.
Yes, works fine both at Sam’s and Walmart. I take a screenshot of all gift cards immediately after purchase.
So if I took a screenshot and then printed the screenshot, do you think that the barcode would work fine?
Yeah, the barcode screenshots straight from my phone work just fine at the checkout.

You can add it to Walmart payment method as a gift card. Then, you can use Walmart app to check out

That’s a good tip but the whole point is that I hate using my phone in-store so that’s why I wanted a print out. 😉
Just looked at my gc screenshots. I never even noticed the barcode or knew that you could scan that for pmt. I’m surprised that they allow this w so much gc fraud.
No problem using it as barcode in sams or walmart.
You could just put it in your walmart app and use walmart pay at checkout.

Yes, Amazon Fresh gift cards can be loaded to your Amazon balance. I’d imagine that, yes, those will be shut down too soon.
Can you check if it still works on your account? If so, I’ll probably sign up for Pepper now and use up my Amex Offers on that.
They’re the same thing, but Fresh is also doesn’t seem to be an option for CC purchase on my app. I used my last two Amex offers on Sam’s.

How did you have more than 1 Amex Offer for Pepper? I thought that adding an offer to 1 card automatically removes it from all other Amex cards. Is that no longer the case?
