[Update 11/2/17: it’s working again.]
A number of readers have reached out about being unable to make ANY Plastiq payment using an Amex card. Only Visa, Mastercard, and Discover work currently. Plastiq has confirmed with us that it’s not working right now, and indicated they don’t have a clear time-able for when it will be. But my impression is that it’s some sort of temporarily issue which should be eventually resolved.
As IÂ understand, even pre-scheduled Amex payments are not going through (correct me in the comments if I’m wrong on this). Be sure to pay whichever bills you have either with another card or another way outside Plastiq.
