PNC recently launched the Cash Unlimited Visa Signature. Card details as follows:
- $250 bonus when you spend $1,000+ within the first three months
- Card earns 2% cash back on all purchases
- $0 annual fee
- No foreign transaction fee
- $800 cell phone protection
- 15 month interest fee period on balance transfers ($5 or 4% balance transfer fee)
Interesting card due to the 2% back and no FTF or annual fee for everyday purchases.
Not pre-approved with an 808 score. Reasons given: “Insufficient credit history” (despite 7 years oldest credit line) “Insufficient deposit relationship with PNC”(Just opened a bank account with them a week ago, switched direct deposit) “Amount owed on revolving credit” (under 5% for all cards) “Number of accounts recently opened” (last credit account opened was 18 months ago)
Applied and instantly approved with 15k CL. 823, 4/24, a PNC checking and savings account holder.
Long-time PNC customer. Was approved, but I had to take a call from the bank to verify information. $7,500 credit line. 824 credit per CapitalOne and Chase, 871 FICO per Citi.
817 credit score, only one recent credit card opening, existing customer with PNC – declined.
I thought all Visa Signature cards offer rental car protection, but I don’t see anything about it after getting this card. Does it offer rental car protection?
Turned down with a 779 score…yikes. Only opened 2 CCs in the last year
Bonus is $200 now.
Declined. 760 Credit, 3/24.
to apply for credit card with PNC you either have to be a customer or ONLY apply by phone ?
Few things about PNC from my experience:
You need to use a browser to pay credit card using external accounts.
Their app only allows for credit card payments with PNC checking/savings (external accounts don’t even show up as an option even if linked)
Can only add three external accounts (not a big deal for most, but I just discovered this).
Nice that this card has no minimum redemption amount for statement credit or deposit. Their other Cash Rewards card has a $25 minimum.
