PNC recently launched the Cash Unlimited Visa Signature. Card details as follows:
- $250 bonus when you spend $1,000+ within the first three months
- Card earns 2% cash back on all purchases
- $0 annual fee
- No foreign transaction fee
- $800 cell phone protection
- 15 month interest fee period on balance transfers ($5 or 4% balance transfer fee)
Interesting card due to the 2% back and no FTF or annual fee for everyday purchases.
Few things about PNC from my experience:
You need to use a browser to pay credit card using external accounts.
Their app only allows for credit card payments with PNC checking/savings (external accounts don’t even show up as an option even if linked)
Can only add three external accounts (not a big deal for most, but I just discovered this).
Nice that this card has no minimum redemption amount for statement credit or deposit. Their other Cash Rewards card has a $25 minimum.
Applied for the card and was instantly approved with a 5k limit at 3/24. Have the PNC points card that was previously converted from the BBVA Clearpoints but no checking since I closed that.
Declined. Just opened a checking account with them yesterday. 2/24
Opened a checking account dor P2 2 weeks ago. Just tried to open a black credit card. Declined. LoL/24.
NB : P2 was also approved for a new credit card at different bank, about 2 weeks ago. Maybe I should have waited more weeks. Will try again in 1 month.
theres also a $6000/$600 busines card
Does PNC have a way to check if you are pre qualified like Capital One has?
no
Had a pnc banking account but closed. Used that login and applied. Under review then approved second day with 5k. 4/24
Non PNC customer, approved via phone application, 4/24, 2/12.
LOL/24 and Declined.
“The applicant must be a PNC Online Banking user to apply online.”
YOU SHOULD BE A PNC CUSTOMER TO APPLY FOR THIS CREDIT CARD.
