PNC recently launched the Cash Unlimited Visa Signature. Card details as follows:
- $250 bonus when you spend $1,000+ within the first three months
- Card earns 2% cash back on all purchases
- $0 annual fee
- No foreign transaction fee
- $800 cell phone protection
- 15 month interest fee period on balance transfers ($5 or 4% balance transfer fee)
Interesting card due to the 2% back and no FTF or annual fee for everyday purchases.
theres also a $6000/$600 busines card
Does PNC have a way to check if you are pre qualified like Capital One has?
no
Had a pnc banking account but closed. Used that login and applied. Under review then approved second day with 5k. 4/24
Non PNC customer, approved via phone application, 4/24, 2/12.
LOL/24 and Declined.
“The applicant must be a PNC Online Banking user to apply online.”
YOU SHOULD BE A PNC CUSTOMER TO APPLY FOR THIS CREDIT CARD.
Nice to see purchase protection on a no-fee card.
Also, cell insurance has a $50 deductible, not bad.
Intresting !! No Verdict by Doc ??!! Just simple Announcements about this card Chuck
“Interesting card due to the 2% back and no FTF or annual fee for everyday purchases.” that’s the verdict
Still not worth mentioning though like your regular approach to other cards:
” Will add this card to our list of best Everyday Credit Cards ?!!!! ”
Considering lots of inferior cards are in that list right now such as the 2% WF redemption crazy cards and so on .
Yes it will be added there, I’ll make a note.
I opened a PNC virtual wallet checking/savings accounts and got $400 bonus. I think within the last two years. Does this disqualify me? Anyone know?
nothing stopping you from getting the card if you got the checking bonus, PNC feels like a bank where it’s a soft requirement to have the checking in order to get the credit card
If it’s still open it qualifies you.
If you got the bonus >24 months ago, and closed it at least 3 months ago, you can open a new one for another $400 bonus. That will qualify you for the CC too.

If neither, try logging in with your old credentials when you apply for the card. I don’t know if it would work but it’s worth a try.
If you’re churning the $400 bonus on a regular 25-26 month cycle you can downgrade and keep the checking open for ~22 months each cycle. It’s easy to keep fee-free and they send targeted CC offers similar to this one.
Thanks so much for the info
Declined- lots of hard pulls over past year.
