Point Transfers From Chase Ink Business Premier Now Possible

When the Chase Ink Business Premier launched it was not possible to transfer points to travel partners or to other cards that could transfer to transfer partners. That seems to have changed and it’s now possible to transfer these points. It’s unclear if this is an intentional change or simply a bug, in any case if you have any points I’d recommend transferring them ASAP to give yourself more flexibility.

There is no reason we can’t use this to pay taxes, right?

Can someone please kindly confirm if this is true? I was told you could hold more than 1 of the same card product for INk business? For e.g. I could re-apply for another Ink Cash/Ink unlimited? Or is it safe to cancel first and wait 3-6 months and re-apply?

I called Chase and tried to transfer my points from my Premier card to Sapphire card. They told me that it was not possible.

Anyone’s transfer is shown as ‘pending’? Mine was initiated on 11/15

What ended up happening?

We Xfered 400k while this was working creating an effective ~3.75% return on money spent.

With interchange fees being ~2.75%, chase is barely making money off the premiere as is. I knew it had to be a glitch.

Anyone who has done a xfer and now have points that are out of whack? My total balance more than doubled.

I tried on 11/17/23. “Moving points to Ink Business Premier is final and irreversible. Ultimate Rewards points cannot be moved from the Ink Business Premier card to another Chase card.”

Couldn’t do it.

This is a great data point to have.

IMO, even with unlimited 2x transferrable Ultimate Rewards Points on every dollar spent with 2.5x on amounts over 5K, that $195 annual fee nullifies it already. Considering you can earn 2x ThankYou Points with Citi DC and 2x Venture Points with Venture X or Venture Rewards and 2x Membership Rewards Points with Amex BBP

No foreign transaction fees. Earn 2X offshore. Try that with the Citi 2X. Venture alone becomes the competition. $195 vs. $95 AF. If someone does more than $20k in big purchases, the Premiere wins. Open your mind to scenarios other than your own little world.

Oh yeah, of course, I don’t know why you are so offensive but of course it makes sense if you make a lot of big purchases for your business multiple times a year, especially engage in foreign transaction.

Yeah some people are super defensive about their card of choice, like toddlers protecting their little toys.

Actually no one should use the $95 venture when the $395 venture X pays for itself +$5 yield every year. At least if you’re going to be condescending be smart about it

This card was very clearly designed for BUSINESSES not for “businesses”
Sorry to burst your bubble.

Damn, Lee… talk about having an open mind–take a look in the mirror. Will preceded his post with, “IMO…” Arrogant gasbag…

UPDATE – Earlier, when in Combine Points, my Ink Premier card was present on the From side but was shaded and the box could not be checked. Now, when in Combine Points, my Ink Premier card is NOT present on the From side.

I’ve emailed my Chase business relationship manager asking what’s up.

UPDATE – No functionality to transfer between ANY cards. Sounding like an IT issue.
