Priority Pass has added another option for Atlanta International Airport, members can now access ‘Minute Suites’ in Concourse T. Members already had access to minute suites in Concourse B. Minute suites are basically just a room with a couch that can be turned into a bed like thing, unfortunately priority pass only grants you access for a 1 hour stay after that you are charged $28 per hourly.
Personally I think these minute suites are pointless, with an hour total I’m not going to be able to get comfortable and asleep in time so really I’d only be using it for some peace and quiet. Minute suites do not have any complimentary beverage/food items either. It’s hard to complain about more lounge access being added, but personally I think these minute suites add nothing as I’d never use them anyway. You can view credit cards that offer complimentary priority pass access here.

Hat tip to Points, Miles & Martinis
Just tried the PHL minutesuite. Checked in, got away from people after an 8 hour clown bus of a flight. Stayed 59 minutes before going to the centurion. Thought 3 hours and 5 minutes on my stopwatch since PP card swipe was good. No go. PP will only comp 1 visit for 1 hour a day resetting at midnight.
When you just landed from any flight over 6 hours and you weren’t in a lie-flat business class, OHHH you will totally want those things to let you lay down.

set a LOUD alarm….take a quick 40 minute nap
Nice for a quick nap and….sex… The one we used in Houston let us swipe 2 different PP cards to stay for 2 hours.
You can bring guests in it? They won’t frown on me bringing a chick into my suite?
“up to 3 guests accompanying the Cardholder in the same Minute Suite may use it at no extra charge”
classic – I was about to agree with the doc about these being pretty useless, but you have totally changed my mind, ha ha 🙂
I haven’t been in one, but most reviewers point out that it doesn’t even provide sound isolation, so, totally unclear what’s the point of it is. Being charged for extra hours is an extra slap on the wrist.
I’ve gotten 3* hotels for 50 bucks total through Priceline NYOP with free breakfast and all; they’re getting 28 bucks from PP, and all they can offer is a 1h in a tiny windowless room with a couch without sound isolation and huge overages for overstay? Seriously?!
I actually just visited one Monday morning, PHL. Beats sitting at the gate for an hour. And they did have white noise with controllable volume, so a modicum of isolation.
“I don’t have any experience with these, but I’d like to say that they’re terrible.”
I’ve been in the DFW one a few times and boy are they useless. It’s just being in a tiny room by yourself. The only person that would ever find this useful is if you used the minute suite as a love hotel on a layover or something. The concept and pricing are ridiculous.
Full disclose — that PL NYOP 3* was a Motel 6 that was also rented by the hour on Craigslist. Food left from previous guest was the ‘free breakfast!’
Ah. Reminds me of the one time I used it… Fell asleep, missed my international connection and got charged for 6 additional hours 🙂
Ouch!
