Priority Pass has added a new restaurant option to Washington DC National Airport (DCA). Priority Pass members can now visit Bracket Room found in terminal B, opposite Gate 12. Members are entitled to receive $28 off their bill per person (e.g if you bring a guest you get $56 off). Bracket Room is described as a full service upscale sports lounge, the full menu can be found here (click more menus to see lunch & dinner). Previously Priority Pass had no lounge presence at DCA so it’s good to see them continuing the trend of adding restaurant options where this is the case. You can view credit cards that offer complimentary priority pass access here.

Hat tip to OMaaT
Was there last week. The waitress was really nice. I didn’t order up to my $28 value and she offered to give me a water bottle to max out the $28.
Was tip included in $28?
How many guests can you bring?
How do you get the credit? Do you pay first and get refund on your card or does the restaurant give you $28 credit?
So if your meal total is $20 and you give $3 tip with the credit, you pay nothing?
From the PPS website:
Additional Information
2. The US$28 is valid for the purchase of any meal and/or drinks. To be eligible, Cardholders must present a valid Card and an Outbound Departure Boarding Pass with confirmed same-day travel.
3. US$28 is non-transferable & cannot be exchanged for cash substitute or refund if the final bill is lower than US$28 per person.
4. Cardholder is responsible for the balance if total final bill exceeds US$28 per person. Any remaining balance cannot be used towards gratuity.
DCA has four separate security areas. Terminal B mostly serves United and Delta gates, and both those airlines have their own lounges in that terminal.
I was at Terminal B for an Alaska flight so the Bracket Room was a good option for non United / Delta flights 🙂
Welcome news, thanks DoC. Appears to be restricted to those with same-day “outbound flights” only… Wonder if that’s enforced?
PS: Smiled/winced at some of the melded cuisine menu options — like Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls. Ah, may check this place out soon. (if I can wean myself away from all the terrific Dulles options) Still on my PP wish list: food lounges at Charlotte and Midway hubs.
Is there a general priority pass restaurant blog post that covers general topics and questions? (like whether pass can be used more than once, used at multiple locations, whether it covers alcohol and taxes, using multiple priority passes to get 2x or 3x the credit etc etc)
No there isn’t. I can write one up if you like. Do you have any other questions?
that’s all i can think of right now. mainly just looking for a place where people could post their own data points in one area. not super urgent as I know a lot of those answers could probably be found by digging into each individual airport restaurant post, but it would be nice to have a place where its all aggregated and you could link the general post each time a new restaurant partnership is released (ie. see here for more details and common questions about priority pass restaurant partnerships). it could also be added as a subsection to a more general priority pass post. i haven’t had the opportunity to use the restaurant benefit yet so its been flying under my radar, but now that more and more US locations are being added, i think it would be really beneficial
if you have multiple priority passes can you get 2x or 3x off the bill?
Nope
Thank the points gods this is life changing for when I’m not flying delta.
