Priority Pass has been adding restaurant options in airports with no traditional lounges available. Back in September 2017 they added the Corona Beach house to Miami international airport (MIA). They have now added two more restaurant options to MIA:
- Viena. Located in concourse E, this lounge is landside and is open from 11:00-00:00 daily.
- Air Margaritaville. Located in concourse E, this lounge is also located landside and open from 06:00-23:00 daily.
Despite both lounges being airside, you and any guests need to provide a boarding pass with confirmed same day travel. You’ll receive a $28 credit for yourself and any of your guests, this is valid for any food/drink purchases but excludes taxes. Menu for Viena can be found here and the menu for Air Margaritaville can be found here (you need to download the menu to get pricing). It’s interesting to see more restaurant options being added at MIA, particularly landside when Priority Pass already has a strong lounge presence available (although none at concourse E). Other recent priority pass additions are:
- Priority Pass Adds Bobby Van’s Steakhouse To JFK Airport
- Priority Pass Adds Restricted Access To Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
- Priority Pass Adds Kentucky Ale Taproom To Lexington Blue Grass Airport (LEX)
- Priority Pass Adds Two Restaurants At St Louis MO Lambert (STL) Airport
- New Priority Pass Lounge: Plaza Premium At YYZ Terminal 3 – A Gates – U.S. Departures
- Priority Pass Adds The Club At PIT To Pittsburgh International (PIT)
- Priority Pass Adds Timberline Steaks & Grille To Denver (DEN)
- Priority Pass Adds Capers Cafe Le Bar & Capers Market To PDX
- Priority Pass Adds House Spirits Distillery (PDX)
- Priority Pass Update: Restaurant Addition At Gatwick & Turkish Lounge At IAD
- Priority Pass Adds Bar Symon To Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE)

What’s up with priority pass not offering any options at BNA (Nashville)? We have a very busy airport and booming City that is larger than these other airports.
I don’t understand how they make these decisions. No lounge, no restaurant credit. So far I’ve only used the lounge benefit in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
this is so funny. every time i see PP “Adding New Restaurant Options”, i think to myself “adding more locations, but increasing PP denial rates at an airport near you…”
I’m sure it’s in response to that. But so long as restaurants don’t reject people and credits are ample enough, well, I’d much prefer that to almost any PP lounge
wish they could add something in Chicago..
Found the menu. Looks like a chain from Brazil is opening their first US location: https://www.vienamiamiairport.com/menu/
Thanks, added to post.
Very interesting news, thanks. PP locator now shows SIX lounges/restaurant options for Miami airport. Yet rather odd that there are NO PP options at any of the other major south florida airports — including all three where Southwest flies. (FLL, RSW, & PBI) 🙁 Bummer…. this variable could affect planning for an upcoming journey to the everglades region….
Yeah, the FLL airport — which is now a very busy airport — is pretty much starved for lounge options. There’s a DL Sky Club there, but DL’s route network doesn’t work for me at FLL. Of course, if a new lounge card option did open, you’d still have to get lucky, because the terminals don’t connect there (kind of like a JFK situation).
Definitely good that they are adding more options in MIA. Corona Beach House should now be avoided unless you are only getting drinks.
Food options no good?
I would characterize the food at the Corona as slightly below average. And the margarita prices seemed high to me (may $13 or $14?).
But this is now a crazy situation. Due to a schedule change, I have a 4 hour layover at MIA later this month. There’s nothing preventing me from drinking in one restaurant, heading over to another to eat, etc. Right? Heck, there’s even an AMEX Centurion Lounge.
BTW, the last time I was at Corona, they let me add take-out/snack items to my tab. I don’t think there’s anything stopping you from using your credit solely on takeaway snacks. As I’m headed to an “off the grid” location in South America, I might try to use the opportunity to pick up some shelf-stable snacks.
Nope, you can enjoy all of them.
It’s funny because, like most folks, I generally don’t like the MIA airport. If I’m going to SoFla, I generally prefer FLL. Especially if I need to rent a car. But Priority Pass is making it very hard to maintain that preference. 🙂 MIA is now practically a “must visit” airport!
