Our Verdict
Seems like a great offer if you’re going to purchase $175 in groceries anyway.
Where are you guys sending the email to?
Got my $50 today
I submitted on 12/19 and I was denied on 2/3 for the following reason: “Receipt must include: PRE-PRINTED authorized dealer/retailer store name”.
I printed out my Costco receipt from Costco web site, instead of taking a picture of the paper receipt, which I lost. Is that the reason?
I’ve used digital copies of receipts from Walmart and Sam’s Club successfully for these deals. They are formatted exactly like the paper receipts.
I have not tried submitting the purchase history page for a delivery/pickup order since it doesn’t look like the paper receipts, but others have claimed success with that method.
Update: positive DP…
I uploaded my receipts and filed for the rebate on 11/29/24 (non-Sams Club purchases). For a few weeks, the status page said they had no record of my submission. I then sent in an email asking what was up, and someone replied saying all good, they got my submission, and now I just have to wait.
Then on 1/9/25, I got a rejection email. I replied to the previous email chain and someone again said, don’t worry, I am eligible. A week or so later, I got *another* rejection email, but I again reached out and was again told I am eligible.
Today, 2/3/25, I finally got the $50.
Moral of the story, I suppose, is the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Keep trying!
“We’re sorry, your submission did not qualify for this rebate.”
Submitted $178 in groceries from Giant, and a $30 24-pack of Heineken from Walmart – won’t be buying their beer anymore! At least my husband enjoyed it…
Submitted 12/4/2024, received $50 on 1/15/2025. Neither the beer nor the groceries were purchased at Sam’s Club.
I got the same rejection email as others today (1/9/25). However, I had reached out a couple of weeks ago and someone replied saying I did in fact qualify, so I am reaching out again to see if I can make it work. Not hopeful, though.
Denied.
Dear X,
Thank you for participating in the Heineken Sams Club Rebate Program. Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request for the following reason(s):
Thank you for your interest in this offer.
Groceries were at Kroger, beer was Wal-Mart. Kinda surpised as Sam’s Club and Walmart are the same parent company, I believe. Seems to be Sam’s Club specific, not sure if it applies to the groceries portion too.
I’m gonna fight this one. In the terms, there is no mention of Sam’s Club; in fact, it specifically references “retailers”:

Rejected- Heineken purchase was at Sam’s but included other stores as part of the overall grocery spend.
I lost the Costco receipt, but I can download the PDF in my Costco account, will it be fine?
