This code is listed on TopCashback which is offering 10% casback on Raise.com today, which means a discount of almost 17% if you go through TopCashback.

Yes, it is back to 2% now. My purchase from a few hours ago did track at 10%.

I also lucked into the 10% + 7% stack. But the total isn’t 17%, it’s actually 16.3%. Timing worked great for me as I was planning to book an Airbnb today anyway!

$207 of Chipotle for $191… there’s one down the street from my office, so plenty of chances to use on the regular. Thanks DoC!

I never understood buying these semi-discounted restaurant gift cards on deals like this.

Chiptle is a restaurant so you can easily get 3x or 4x points 9worth 1.5c+) just from using a credit card directly there. Add on top of that, that many of those restaurants frequently sell their own gift cards at a discount (buy $50 get $10 card), and the discount above is completely negated.

What am I missing?

Well the thing flea bought was 9.2%
Personally I tend to buy if it’s 6%+ because cash+/gold schwab/drop for Chipotle. Usually keep a only keep 1-2 weeks of gc.

Also if you have under $10 on a Chipotle gc it can literally cash it out. Says in the back of each card. R/shittychurning

Is this true of e-gift cards as well?

The only problem is have with this is the max $10 discount. I try to buy target GCs during these raise promos but the small denominations are always snatched up before people on the west coast wake up. So 7% off of a $500 GC = $10??? The Math doesn’t make sense and isn’t worth it for me.

To move away from politics, I bought a Giant Eagle gift card. Using a shopping portal and a 3% Discover Miles card gave me a nice discount of 13%!
