Our Verdict
The better cards usually go fast. Remember to use a shopping portal, just keep in mind the lifetime limitations there.
Raise has not refunded my netflix card from last week that didn’t work, and had a lot of questions about it this time rather than refunding, so my raise purchases are on pause until I am made whole from that experience.
Is it possible that Raise intentionally removes better cards to sell less useful cards faster with these kinds of promos?
Sellers control the cards. It’s possible there are a few brands that sell directly which have that kind of relationship, but not for regular seller’s cards.
I logged on at midnight when the sale went live and Walmart cards were already gone. Best Buy was starting to run out as well. I guess a lot of people have caught onto the deals on Raise. Target is uselss for me because I already get 5% off with my red card.
I’ve noticed the same thing. Usually grocery stores (whole foods, trader joe’s) have ample inventory of cards, but not so during a discount code sale.
Why would Raise do that? They get the same commission regardless of the brand of the card.
If a card sells slow, the market will adjust itself.
