Raise Now Accepts Paypal Payments

Raise now accepts Paypal as a payment option.

Why is this interesting? I’m not sure yet. Raise allows Amex gift cards to be used directly on their site so you don’t need Paypal for that. But I guess it could be convenient in some cases anyhow.

If you haven’t make $1,000 in Raise purchase in your life, remember to use a shopping portal. If you’re past that, consider clicking through our Raise affiliate link before doing your Raise purchases.

Thanks  Chuck . I wonder if cashback sites like Topcashback , Ebates etc track properly if raise app is used. Do you know?

I happened upon this post never used Raise before after a bad experience with another gift card portal. I just tried to checkout through PayPal with my PP Extras MC and it kept saying failed then declined. Typed the actual card into the checkout process and it went right through I found that odd.

Why is this interesting? Remember how sometimes PayPal has targeted offer for those use the PayPal check out to buy a certain dollar amount of items then $10 – $20 off? I tested before on other gift card site, ABC gift card I think, and it worked! However if you purchase gift cards on eBay and check out with PayPal it would not trigger the use of the credit that comes from promotion.
