Rakuten is offering double cash back at many stores for Black Friday, and they also have an increased the rate on Dell:
- Get 16% or 16x on Saks Fifth Avenue purchases
- Get 12% or 12x on Dell Consumer purchases
Our Verdict
Sounds like the increased rates will hold at least through Friday (though the Dell rate doesn’t look to be part of the double cashback event, so might expire sooner). Good time to use up your $50 Saks credit or your Dell credit or Dell bonus credit or Amex Offers, if you haven’t already.

I may have went to dell.com/amex and then clicked Activate in my Rakuten plugin on windows edge (my chrome was being shtt)
I got email from Amex for redeeming Dell offer (the 10% back up to 1500) + 52 back via Rakuten
Used with my Biz Plat, plenty of others have done this too

Awesome. Just spent my old Amex personal platinum $100 Dell credit on a printer. Too bad I spent my Saks credit last week when it was 10x.

Great I have another 5% deal if I use my BofA cash rewards. I wonder I could stack both to get 17% total cashback.
IS there max cashback amount for this? I was planning to buy TV for $1500
The Amex 10% CB offer is capped at $1,500 (or $150).
The Chase 5% is capped at $120 CB but the offers I have seen have required min of $999 transaction.
Don’t forget to signup for Dell Rewards for extra 3% and free expedited shipping.
Some Plat cards will have extra MR or 10% CB offers.

According to CashBackMonitor, it was 15% in December 2019.
IIRC it was 14% on V-Day, it was 11% on Veterans day (11.11.2020)
