Our Verdict

You can convert eBates/Rakuten cash back into American Express membership rewards as well at a 1¢ = 1 point rate which is nice. Readers generally seem to have a lot less tracking issues with eBates/Rakuten than other shopping portals, although the rates are also generally lower (always a good idea to use cashbackmonitor to compare). This is a very generous referral bonus, the standard offer is the person referring gets $25 and the person being referred gets $10 so this is a significant increase on that.
