RebatesMe Shopping Portal: $45 Sign Up Bonus

Update 12/28/21: Deal still live.

The Offer

Direct link to offer (my referral link)

  • Shopping portal Rebatesme is offering a bonus of $45 when you sign up for a new account using our link and accumulate a minimum of $10 in cash back earnings via online purchases through RebatesMe within 365 days

The Fine Print

  • Valid until 12/4/21

Our Verdict

Previously the best bonus was $40, this is an extra $5.  As always use cashbackmonitor to compare rates with other portals to ensure you’re getting a good deal.  Rebatesme paid out on the Motley Fool promotion, where other portals did not. You also get increased cash back on your first order (e.g Macy’s is showing at 12% for me).

  • Update 11/22/21: Link was showing $40 before, it’s now showing $45 (people that signed up when it was showing $40 will receive $45 as advertised here).

Hello William Charles,

The last update you made on this page seems to be for “Update 12/28/21: Deal still live.”

Today, almost a year later, when I click through your “Direct link to offer (my referral link)” (https://www.rebatesme.com/r/DVE6OY), I do see “Create your free account and get a

FREE $45 Bonus”

Does that mean it’s still alive and I will get the $45 bonus once my purchases yield CB of $10?

Thx!

JSM Wondering if you signed up? Their sign up bonus seems to be too good to be true. And looking at all the complaints below makes me even more unsure about signing up with them

If you signed up, how was your experience? thanks

I signed up through doctorofcredit referral link. I ordered dell through their website. The order did not track. I have opened an issue with them. I will update here based on how the issue is resolved. But the other comments are correct. In my experience the site cannot track orders [and I have not had any issues with Dell on other sites till now.]

Got my cashback now a few weeks ago. Had to upload my Dell invoice which revealed my real name and address to them. I would have preferred if this was not the case. Other than that, it paid as promised.

I signed up in August, but there is definitely somthing wrong with Rebatesme that I haven’t experienced with other CB sites. Their payout times are one of the worst, or non-existent, despite offers luring your in with high % cashback. Not a single pending cashback has posted since October from multiple merchants used during the Holidays:, ebay, homedepot, lowes, oneplus+, vitacost, etc…all tracked, but still pending or now no longer pending, but no cashback awarded. Only the small (few cent payouts) ever have become available, and those 3, date from October 2021. I ‘ve earned more than $10 in pending cashback from one merchant alone through multiple transactions going back to November, yet nothing has ever been awarded. The latest one, made yesterday, tracks and shows $7.92 as pending, yet this merchant offer has never paid out once.

All of this, despite going through their website, being signed in, or using their browser extension for all of these purchases. Tracking is not a problem, awarding the cashback is. The oldest tracking that still shows as pending are all now close to 90 days, not a single one has become available. It seems like older purchases lose the pending designation and then never get awarded, after 90 days passes. I did contact them recently about one purchase from Nov 25, from Lowes that was no longer “pending” and uploaded requested documentation, they claimed it was awarded in an account message, yet it wasn’t added to my balance, and at the same time sent an email, requesting the purchase confirmation email (pasted) after aready submitting the receipt as an attachment, I don’t have these issues with other CB sites, and you have to watch or be ridiculously vigilant with them. I understand Rebatesme business model, offer a ridiculous bonus amount. but never have to actually pay it out…and then blame the merchants.

Can you have two RebatesMe accounts? Another new one for the $45 bonus?

Hi there! Great question! RebatesMe does not allow duplicate accounts for the same user. RebatesMe reserves the right to cancel bonuses that include, but not limited to, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, referrals of members of the same household, fraud, returns and unusual activities.

Sweet! I made a purchase the other day where RebatesMe was 4.1, versus TopCashback at 4.0. But, I wasn’t a RebatesMe user. There was a promotion for $40, but when I clicked that link, RebatesMe only wanted to offer me a paltry $10. So glad I waited, did the sign up tonight, and fingers crossed I’ll be able to earn the $10 back quickly to redeem the $45.

RebatesMe Wondering if you are still active here? I want to sign up but looking at all the complaints here, seems like it might not be worth it?

Signed up a while ago. None of my purchases tracked. Submitted a ticket more than a month ago. Then emailed to remind them recently. No response, no points, nothing.

We are sorry to hear you are having trouble getting in contact with us! You can send us an email to [email protected] with your order receipt and we’d be happy to take a look at it for you. You can also submit a missing cash back inquiry by going to “my account” and then clicking “missing cash back.” Once you submit the missing cash back inquiry, the merchant takes 45-60 days to provide feedback on your inquiry. (Some merchant’s take 180 days). Your cash back will automatically be updated based on the merchant’s feedback and you will also receive an email containing the results.
