Ummm…the “easy” status boost is just signing up for an Amex CC with MQM as SUB. Missing the days of actual easy boosts like the old 500 MQM per stay promo at SPG properties.
How else do you expect them to shill a credit card with an affiliate payout!
Fwiw, it _is_ easier than but in seat if you’re eligible for the bonus!
It’s also too late for 2019 – the MQM don’t post until the first statement, regardless of when you actually meet minimum spend. Given it’s already December, you wouldn’t have the points post until January..
