Wow they went in on Wells Fargo. As they should.
But the government gets the money so it goes into a black hole anyhow and we the people won’t see a dime of that money. Let’s try a novel approach: all government fines collected get divided among taxpayers. Show me the money.
I’ll just add to my own comment. I’m independent and try to vote for the best qualified person. It takes Congress to get appropriations right. We could have had better roads, bridges, water/sewer lines and better electric grid decades ago if our government would have cooperated better. They had other things on their minds. Look how much time was wasted with the partisan impeachment which resulted in nothing. Wasted time, wasted tax dollars, wasted hours we all worked for in trying to feed our families. At least some deals are given to us by some institutions and I appreciate this site.
