“…incentive campaigns that can be targets for bad actors attempting to reap the benefit from these offers without ever having an intent to be a legitimate customer on our platform.”
If that is the characterization of a bad actor, does that make DoC the Bad Actors Guild?
Aren’t there easy ways around that? Just require them to do something beyond signing up, like a lot of banks do. Problem (somewhat*) solved.
*Yes, I know people will keep accounts just long enough to satisfy the requirements and then book it. (If you want long-term customers you say as much in the offer’s terms, right?)
Then they tried to disguise the statement by saying “bot farms” were created to cheat the system. How can bot farms have intent to be a customer if they are not human? Besides, $10 is chump change. Did they really expect consumer loyalty with that effort?
Lol $10 bonus, what a joke 🤣
PayPal is the bad actor

Those bonuses were sweet.
