Doc, I was wondering if this is a good deal from bank of america:
Cash Rewards for Business MasterCard® credit card, $500 bonus after spending $5000 in 60 days.
I think it is, basically 10% cash back. Where’d you see it?
My brother got this a few weeks ago. It was a targeted offer. The $500 is a bonus, so you still get the 1/2/3% cash back depending on the type of charge, so it’s an effective 11-13% return.
Note that as a business card it does not qualify for the 10/25/75% relationship bonus with Bank of America that a lot of the personal cards get when you redeem to a BOA checking/savings account.
The $500 bonus shows up immediately once you hit the $5000 spend and is available for redemption as soon as the transaction clears. We redeemed the entire rewards + bonus a few days after the charge and the first statement hasn’t even closed yet.
This is also a nice add on to the $200 bonus for a business checking account.
I see it on my BoFa account, under ‘special deals for you’. Sometimes, when you log out from your account, an offer appears. Anyway, under “special deals for you’ there are always credit card offers, you select the one they offer, and on the bottom, there are other offers. I have 20K -25K points on almost all flavor of business cards (but nothing for personal cards). I don’t have a business checking/cc with Bofa.
Thanks, Sergey!
