Hyatt being “cheaper than expected” is a bit of a bending of the truth right there.
Paying $150+/day for a room, with a minimum of a few weeks, is quite a bit of money; many hotels already have had free parking in their garages due to COVID19, so, some of these benefits are kind of already standard. In any case, I find it hard to see how saving a few bucks would make a big difference when you’re already spending a few Ks for something that could be had for probably 2x to 3x less if you go through the opaque channels, for example.
These rates are pretty ridiculous. Nothing other than click-bait to claim that they’re “cheaper” than expected. Paying 6k/mo for a hotel room when vacancy rates are through the roof is anything but “cheap” — even if parking and resort fees are included.
I was told by Hyatt Twitter that the separate private workspace at Hyatt Indian Wells is the desk in the room. It’s separate because it’s not the TV stand. So be sure to ask for the specific property.
So, basically, just a standard room in any 3*+ hotel?
