Deal has sold out

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Red Robin is offering a “Year of YUMMM” for $99. You’ll receive a $15 gift card on the first day of every month starting December 1st, 2017 and ending November 1st, 2018. That’s a total of $180 in gift cards.

The Fine Print

  • Deal goes live Friday December 1st at 12am EST
  •  Use this gift card to purchase anything on the menu at participating Red Robin® locations, until the card balance runs out. Use of this card constitutes acceptance of these terms. Hold this card securely. Cards will ONLY be replaced UP TO THE REMAINING BALANCE if you submit gift card number and satisfactory proof of purchase. Not valid in Canada and where void by law. Not reloadable. Card cannot be redeemed for cash, except as required by law. Cannot be used to purchase gift cards. No expiration date or fees apply.

Our Verdict

According to the fine print there doesn’t seem to be any expiration date so these are true gift cards and not bonus cards. The resale rate on Red Robin is 68% for eGiftcards so it is a profitable deal, but you’d need to wait some time to get the full return and that assumes the rate holds there as well. If you regularly go to Red Robin then this is a great deal.

I have received the gift card activation email. However, when I click, I’m always getting this message – “Please follow the instructions below to retrieve your e-Gift Card”. But the screen doesn’t have any instruction. Has anyone faced this issue?

Mine says “Click the ‘Activate Your Card Now’ button below.” Do you use a script blocker or have text-only email?

I also got a link to a customer service page at
https://www.wgiftcard.com/tracking/69. Hopefully they can help you.

(I redeemed my first card on Saturday with no problems, and even stacked it with a free birthday meal.)

I have tried Chrome, firefox, IE and Edge. Disabled pop-up blocker. Still doesn’t work. Tried to open the email online, but that doesn’t work either.

Contacted Red Robin CS. Waiting for response.

Has anyone received the first $15 egiftcard via email today?

Yes, they sent it out almost immediately after I purchased mine last night.

Yes, I got mine. It’s a link to a page you print out.

The email says “You will receive a $15 eGift Card featuring a different burger on the first of each month for 12 months.” But there’s nothing in the gift card that refers to a specific burger, and in fact it says you can use it on “anything on the menu.”

They are just talking about the picture in the email/on the voucher (where you press print). It will be a different burger pictured each time. Just advertising.

So I still bought a few just now. Thinking that 10k limit is less than sincere.

Got mine last night. Started right at the selling time and it finally purchased 10 min later. Stoked about this! My wife and I get Red Robin to go every month or two minimum. Stack this with the coupons they email out and every 10th burger free and it’s like 65-75% off all year!

In for one, no prob ordering in the morning. So these are just regular old e-gift cards, parceled out 15/month? Might go for a second if anyone can confirm there are no tricks…

There’s a banner advertising this deal, but I’m only seeing selection options in standard amounts. Sold out?

I tried again and it gave me the correct option, I ordered successfully and got a confirmation email. I’m skeptical though. Only 10,000 available, the website was getting hammered so hard that it was crashing within minutes of midnight, and I came in an hour late. We’ll see if there’s a “We’re sorry…” email by morning.

Ended up getting 4. I see a movie a week with movie pass and I walk right past a Red Robin every time. With all the specials Red Robin runs all the time plus every 10th meal free… I’m in bargain nirvana here.

I still haven’t received a confirmation email. I guess that I will found out if it went through if I receive the $15 egiftcard today.

Terry, I had the same experience with IKEA gift card a week ago. When I checked, I discovered I had given them a wrong email address. Is there a way to check your email address that you gave them?
