Our Verdict
$400 bonus is very easy to do. The $150 is a bit more tricky, best option is online banking and then either $25,000 in money market or $50,000 in checking. Might as well do the $25,000 into money market as you should be able to fund another $1,000 with a credit card. Remember the $25,000 only has to be in there on June 29th so the play would be to transfer in just before then and then transfer out afterwards to avoid the loss of too much interest. Shame it’s targeted otherwise it would be going on the list of the best business checking bonuses.

I received a mail with 350 business checking + 350 Elavon. Went in branch and told the banker I only want 350 from checking, no Elavon.
09/11/24 open in branch with 100+ deposit
09/30/24 complete 10 debit transactions
12/13/24 Bonus 350 posted as Marketing Bonus
I received the same offer as below. I was denied for personal side due to chex a few months ago, so I prob won’t pursue although it’s an easy one.
My wife received an offer letter in the mail for her LLC. The bonus is $350 for checking + $350 for using Elavon merchant services. We opened the business checking account but I’m less convinced the merchant services is a good idea.
From what I read in the contract, the merchant services is a minimum 3-year commitment and fees of $16 per month for services & hardware rental (which is $5 of the $16).
If anyone know how to reduce or eliminate the costs on the merchant services, maybe we would pursue that also. TIA.
Did you complete the checking bonus, how did it go?
I did. Got my 350 couple days ago.
Ha, i just received a mailer from them yesterday, but mention nothing about bonus for new account. It’s only a notice that a new branch is open in my neighborhood.
How easy is it to open one of these up with a “business”. Do they ask many questions or ask for any verification of income to open the account?
HI Clinton,
I opened REGions BUss checking last year, its very easy. (Of course i have legitimate buss.) They don’t ask much questions. Easy to open buss a/c. But mostly it depends on the banker you get.
I have Regions personal checking/saving, would I be eligible for this offer if I got one in the mail?
I assume so yes
I received the checking bonus last year and I wasn’t targeted.
Biz?
No, personal account.
I assume you need to be targeted here as we don’t even have a link for this offer
I tried a Regions offer last year that was on here since I’ve got a branch right by me. Account opened successfully but I could never log in after that first day. After I saw my opening deposit had bounced back I called cust service and they said my account was closed after 2 days and they didn’t know the reason. The guy not only was unconcerned about it and made no effort to find out what happened or to reopen the account, he said I was lucky that I got my money back because sometimes people don’t.
So for the $400 there is no minimum funding or DD requirement? Is there an early account termination fee/ clawback?
Early account termination fee: $25, 180 days
