Update 10/8/21: While the public Sapphire Preferred 100k offer has expired and is now showing 60k, you can still use a referral link for the 100k offer. Unknown expiration. Branch offers are still around as well with waived annual fee.
Update 10/5/21: VFTW notes that Google Ads are now showing Thursday, October 7th as the end-date. Some people were counting the days for eligibility purposes so I thought it worth mentioning. Again, it’s likely there will still be some channels it’ll remain beyond that point as well.
Update 10/4/21: Chase has confirmed with Dansdeals that this offer is ending Wednesday, October 6th. Again, it’s possible referral links or branch offers will still be around afterward.
Update 10/4/21: Based on Google Ad serving, there is some indication that this offer might be pulled in 4 days (I suppose on October 7th), as for some days the ads have been mentioning it ending in 6, then 5, then 4, then 3 days. It’s not clear if it’ll just end up getting extended or this is a real end-date. There’s a good chance of referral links being around longer or the branch offer remaining around. In any case, it could be worth applying now if you are considering it.
Update 7/21/21: Reports indicate that this offer will likely be around at least through August 27th as some email offers are showing that end date. Could obviously be extended beyond that as well.
Update 6/24/21: 100,000 offer (no fee waiver or $50) is now available via referrals.
Update 6/8/21: You can now apply in a Chase branch and get the 100,000 points offer. You’ll also get the $95 annual fee waived for the first year, and you’ll also get a $50 grocery credit. More details on the branch offer in this dedicated post.

Our Verdict
The previous Sapphire Preferred offer was for 80,000 points on the same $4,000 spend + a $50 grocery credit; that offer has ended and the 100,000 offer (no grocery bonus) is the new offer. Chase will not match earlier signups to the 100,000 bonus, according to Reddit user EosHuffer. Obviously a bummer for those who signed up under the 80,000 points offer since the additional 20,000 points is worth much more than the $50 grocery credit.
The new 100,000 offer is now available online, and will become available in Chase branches later this month on the 17th (unclear if annual fee will be waived on that branch offer). It’s possible that referral links will get the new offer soon as well.

Thinking about booking flight tickets for summer. But i might need to cancel the card by then to avoid 2nd year fee. Once we get billed for next year card fee, how many days chase give us to cancel with full fee refund?
30 days
Got 100k today, first year fee waived, in branch. Went to one location, was told promo ended last Friday, went to second, fancier location in nearby city and they found it. I couldn’t get a straight answer if today was the last day.
Approved in branch today (had applied 1st week of Oct, after recently PCing my CSR – was told to wait 1 statement cycle before eligible for different Sapphire card). 100k UR points with $4k spend, annual fee waived, $50 hotel credit.
Wife has the preferred and has for over 7 years now. Can she cancel and then reapply in order to get the SUB? How long should we wait between canceling and reapplying?
In branch offer ends this Sunday per RB in SC branch.
DP. Converted CSR to FU on 10-30. Went into branch everyday to see if I qualify for CSP. 11-8 the system showed that I was able to apply for it. Applied, call recon line, got credit limit rearranged, approved, asked for expedited shipping. Received card 11-10. Calls to Chase to find out how long after conversion from a Sapphire product can one apply for another Sapphire product gave the following answers. 1) 2 days, 2) 4 years, 3) 30 days, 4) 60 days (supervisor). That was 8 reps and 2.5 hours total. In branch offer still alive. Go get it while it lasts!!!
Still available in branch. I also had the CSP and got the bonus 49 months ago. Approved without issue, as I heard others were being told if you had this card at all in the past they weren’t approving in branch. YMMV I guess!
just got it today in branch, San Diego, CA. They had a little piece of paper next to the sapphire preferred card that said 100k points, $95 waived and $50-75 or whatever hotel credit
Referral link now showing 60,000 points
Just a data point. Was approved on 10/30 for the 100k no annual fee offer in branch. I live in NYC.
