Our Verdict

Restrictions kind of kill this deal for me. Resale rates are at 72% but you won’t be able to sell the bonus gift cards and even if you could it wouldn’t be profitable. This really only makes sense if you eat there and even then there are gift cards on sale for 17% off (although it’s through CardCash).

Yep I got sucked in too….not a Gift Card…but a coupon…and their prices are high for what you get ! Their new Garden Bar is a misleading gimmick..they charge more for same stuff and never FRESH. What a joke won ‘ t be back and they can KEEP their COUPONS …..

They’ve closed so many Ruby Tuesday’s that I don’t even know where to find one anymore.

Yes, it is deceptive. I did this a couple years ago, when Amex had an offer for $10 off 30 as well. Discovered later that the $15 certificate is treated as a coupon, and thus could not be combined with the 5 off 15 coupons they regularly email. Makes the $15 certificate really only worth $10, with a short redemption window as well. $10 (assuming you use the certificate) off $50 isn’t worth it.

They should advertise these as receiving a bonus coupon. The restrictions listed are for a coupon item type, not a “card” which the purchaser would infer to be a gift card like the base item being purchased.

Misleading on their part. Not participating in this. I’ll just buy their gift cards 20% off.
