[Rumor] American Express Business Platinum Adding New Benefits

Now confirmed, view our full post here.

According to reddit user studebakerguy American Express plans to add the following benefits to the Business Platinum card:

  • Card will earn 1.5x points per $1 spent on construction/hardware stores, electronic goods, and shipping
  • Dell credit increased to $400 annually (currently $200)
  • New credits added:
    • $360 Indeed credit
    • $150 Adobe credit
    • $120 wireless credit

No word on what the annual fee would be, but with the increased Dell credits I suspect that would be increasing as well. Seems weird that American Express would call an existing cardholder about these changes but I guess we will know tomorrow.

I have 7 different business platinums. Only 3 of the 7 cards have been getting the monthly $10 credit since December.

I’m not sure what the issue is. I usually just pay my verizon bill with all 7 cards with no problem.

Terms are out, https://www.americanexpress.com/us/credit-cards/card-application/apply/prospect/terms/business-platinum-charge-card/57460-9-0?key=tncBody&rwdFlag=rwd#offer-terms

Everything is confirmed.

Adobe is credit is annual only, which sucks.

Wiireless credit has no Carrier restriction which is good.

That adobe credit could have really been awesome, but limiting it to a $150 credit on an annual prepaid plan only blows.

They hope you use it on a computer and not trigger the credit

Do computer purchases not trigger the credit?

Nope. The secret is that Dell price matches. So you can get almost everything they have at the same price Amazon or Best Buy has it at. Dell is easily one of the best credits.

Talent acquisition/recruiting analytics/resume parsing (mostly for businesses that require employees/contract labor)

Try Googling first next time.

Take it easy. I know how to use Google also you know how to pass and not to comment. My question was for those users of the Platinum Business but don’t have big business.

This explains the shutdowns. Amex didn’t want gamers taking advantage of this new bounty of riches.
