American Express is planning to refresh the Platinum cards, currently not much is known about the refresh. According to one source the physical card will have a mirror finish with prototypes already being created.

My Business Platinum AF posts in two weeks. I hope they announce something within ~4 weeks otherwise I planned to close.
They should at least scrap the Saks credit and bump up the FHR credit by $100-$200.

I heard another special enhancement is they are only going to let cardholders in to the lounge between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m., to reduce crowding. But those who spend at least $500k on the card will be allowed in until 8:30. But I can’t wait for that mirrored card!
No need to improve the actual benefits of the card. Just make it look shiny. Tracks with the concept of looking at the shiny object and forgetting about the actual product.
