Update 9/10/24: Venture cards have been updated and they look awful. Well done Capital One.
Original post: Over the next few months Capital One plans to redesign all of their credit cards. This is a cosmetic change with cards going for a more simplified look similar to the new Capital One Quicksilver card design.
My suspicion is that this will be done alongside new cards launching and increased sign up bonuses, but this could be done independently of each other.

I just got an email saying SAVOR is getting a new look and it’s one fgly card.
No metal ones anymore…. 🤕
William Charles It looks like the Savor One card has been refreshed to the Savor Rewards card with a limited offer of $250 for $500 spend in 3 months. No mention of the Uber benefits on the card page.

Are they admitting they think the passport visa stamp looks tacky by keeping it off the top tier Venture card? (I kind of like the stamp, it’s unique at least.)
are they still cherry picking who they think will be a sucker to pay interest on their accounts and deny the rest?
The new quicksilver card looks exactly like those crappy opensky cards
What’s in your wallet?
An old looking card and 3 new inquires…
Now if they would only redesign their approval process maybe I could actually get one of these fancy schmancy new Venture cards.
Look at that subtle off-blue coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God it even has a watermark
I tried to use my Venture card at the ATM and it asked me to feed it a kitten.
Venture x still looks the same! No redesigned
Not sure why Capital One thinks the design matters. It’s pitch dark inside most sock drawers.
Don’t forget your $1 monthly free small balance waiver.
Not pulling card out of sock drawer for that. I don’t update my spreadsheet with their new fancy design.
Looking at the four Venture Cards, if they were wanting to standardize the design why did they only put the touch compatible symbol on the front of the Venture X, and have it on the back of the rest of the cards. I get why perhaps the Capital One logo is Silver on the venture X, but red on the rest of the cards… I suppose it’s suppose to show increased value, but then why is it also silver on the Quicksilver One card? Also, why is the chip so much bigger on the Venture and Venture X cards? I suppose there is an extra feature, but I don’t know what that would be…
