[Rumor] Chase Sapphire Preferred 100,000 Point Offer In Branch Starts 3/23/25

According to a source on reddit who has provided reliable information in the past Chase will launch a Chase Sapphire Preferred 100,000 point bonus in branch starting March 23, 2025. The minimum spend requirement will be $5,000 within three months of account opening.

Independently other outlets have also been told to expect a similar offer to become available sometime after March 23, 2025 (not sure on exact dates). It’s unclear if the offer will eventually become available via referral or not.

Obviously a fantastic offer and we will add it to our list of the best credit card bonuses when the offer launches.

P2 downgraded her CSR last month. We’ve been waiting for a high CSP offer. This would be perfect.

So after downgrading CSR, you can apply CSP and get SUB? As long as you don’t get CSP bonus within 48 month?

No, you can only hold one Sapphire. Can downgrade yours to a freedom and then apply for this one.

Chase is usually pretty good about matching higher offers. Once the offer is out there live it is worth it to try

I have had CSP many years ago, got the sub, then downgraded to NO annual fee Sapphire. Can I cancel the no AF Sapphire card now and apply this CSP and get the bonus. I can only have one Sapphire card, right? Thanks a lot.

P2’s eating good with this one! Every 2 years, P2 and me switch off on who will have the card so we get the bonus every 4. My time is coming up so this will be a great offer to hop on.

Zwe is it 4 years from last date of opening the account or last date of getting the bonus.
I opened CSP on 3/22/21.

48 months from receiving the bonus, easiest to go by the date of the statement that received it.

I have a CSR now. Can I change my product from CSR to CSP to take advantage of this offer?

I think the bonus is for new accounts, not product changes.

Would have to cancel CSR first and have to be out of the 48 month window since you received a Sapphire bonus.

You can product change into a freedom card instead of canceling.

When you apply in branch, do you just show up and ask to speak to a banker? Also does anyone know if to get the card expedited, you can call up after like you would with inks? Just did this and it was a save, I’d need it this time too.

You can ask the teller and they will set you up with a meeting with a banker. I don’t know about getting it expedited.
