Update: Card has now launched, full details here.
Last year Chase introduced the Chase Southwest Priority personal card and on the back of the success of that card both Chase and Southwest want to launch a business version. It’s expected to be more or less a carbon copy of the personal version. For readers there is one upside to the business card and that’s the fact that Chase business cards do not report to your personal credit report, this means Chase business cards do not count towards your 5/24 status.
From the looks of this, they might launch a Plus Business Card as well – https://creditcards.chase.com/southwest/business-credit-card
That’s an old card that used to exist isn’t it?
I actually don’t know – got into credit cards fairly recently. I didn’t see the application for the Plus, so assumed it’s coming soon! My bad.
I am under 5/24 and want to apply for the SW priority personal and premier business. Current bonuses are 40k and 60k respectively. Would it be best to apply the same day for the cards of split up? If approved can the points be combined to more quickly achieve the companion pass?
How about a Chase Hyatt Business card?
If Hyatt wanted my hotel loyalty, they’d do this and add grocery as a 2x category on the personal card.
2x on regular groceries and 5x on any Gift Card purchases.
5x on gas as well. What is this fantasy land?!
i’ve been wishing this for a while…apparently my wishes have no effect on chase whatsoever
Any word as to whether there will be a card family limitation, as exists for the SW personal cards? It would be nice if one could get the CP with two biz cards…
I assume so, but don’t know for sure.
Hopefully it keeps the 60,000 point sign up offer. The way things are going probably not I don’t have my hopes up.
Hey, any new biz card offerings are good news. Hopefully will come with decent sign up bonus and waived 1st year AF. This card might give more cobos to hit companion pass.
But you have to be under 5/24 when you apply.
