Update 7/23/24: Looks like the new card might be launching on 7/25. Here is a chat stating that the white gold design will be available them. Hat tip to /r/amex
We just posted that American Express CEO Stephen Squeri stated that a refresh to the Gold card is coming in the following weeks and it looks like the full details have been leaked on the www2 American Express test server. No guarantees these changes will be coming, but it’s highly likely.
- $325 annual fee ($75 increase)
- Launch sign up bonus of 60,000 points + 20% back on restaurants up to $100
- Option of white gold card
- $7 monthly Dunkin donuts credit
- $50 semi annual resy credit
- Restaurants 4x limited to $50,000 per year
- Removing milk bar and shake shack from the food credit but adding 5 guys
- $10 monthly Uber cash credit (same as before)
- $10 monthly GrubHub/5 Guys
Hat tip to US Credit Card Guide
Next time it will be $7 a month towards a monthly prostate exam.
I am hoping that topping off your wallet by $7 from the mobile app will trigger the credit. I don’t really feel like trying to visit a Dunkins every month, so I will probably give this a shot and just save up the credits for when I happen to be near a Dunkin and want a shit coffee.
I’m seeing the new offer with 90K bonus points + $100 back in dining credits with the $325 AF. My current card now showing Dunkin and Resy credits plus option to get White Gold card. Thankfully I just got the card last month for the $250 AF.
William Charles Just like I thought it would be…..the Amex Gold web page was down at midnight PST but has now relaunched on the Amex website confirming the new $325 AF on 7/25 with the rumored Dunkin and Resy credits.
Everyone…just FYI for the Dunkin and Resy credits, make sure you go to the Rewards & Benefits tab and manually enroll in both the Dunkin and Resy offers before you start to redeem them. The Dunkin and Resy credits are not automatically enrolled like the Uber Eats. Otherwise the card would not track when you start to make purchases at Dunkin and Resy and have people pissed off about it.
Thanks, our post now live.
New gold card terms are now live in application page… matches the leaks with new Dunkin and Resy credits, Dining credit changes, 50k cap on dining… but AF still seems to be $250???
I see the same this would be fantastic!!

Actually the Dining credit doesn’t have Five Guys listed. Seems unchanged.
Now it’s been completely updated. $325 and the added dining
The Amex Gold page is down now. I am sure it is to update the new terms on the description page and possibly update the fee. Lets hope the fee didn’t get increased but we never know.
White gold card option now showing under replace card “change card design”
Nice, just requested a White Gold card.
From the AMEX app, click Account, then click Replace Card, the select your AMEX Gold Card, then select Change Card Design, and then you can pick from white gold, rose gold, or gold (plastic card).
Nice find
Account services > Card Management> Replace Card
$50 semi-annual, so $100 annually free food at very expensive restaurants. Not bad deal actually, I’ll gladly pay $325 for that.
lol no thanks coupon book

nice map of dunkin donuts by state
So awful for the west. Utah’s is at an military base.
If I just got my gold and the AF 250 just posted today, I will not be affected by these future AF changes right? Like I will not be extra charged $75 tomorrow right?
you won’t. read somewhere that they legally cannot do that.
Can someone explain how Resy works and how to use the credit? Sorry, but I’ve never used it before and know little about it.
All you need to do is dine at a Resy restaurant and pay with your eligible card. One of the easiest credits to use. Restaurants can be found at Resy.com. You don’t need to actually reserve a table or pay using Resy.
Do you need to add the eligible card(s) in the Resy app to be on file?
And the card needs to be registered to Resy and the benefit activated on the card too.
