Update 1/4/22: Some new rumored news:
- Ratio card has been abandoned
- Actualize and Amplitude cards to launch in early 2022
- Essential Flex card/line of credit for business customers
Original Post: Earlier this year it was rumored that Wells Fargo would be launching three new cards (two of these have already launched in the Active Cash & Reflect card). The third card was rumored to be a rewards credit card, but according to this reddit post that card is actually a suite of cards and in total five new rewards cards will be launched: Trilliant, Autograph, Amplitude, Actualize, Ratio. It looks like the first two cards will be for Private Bank or Wells Fargo Advisors members only, whereas the other cards will be open to all.
Was already signed up for these cards without my permission 🙂
For your convenience.
OP updated recently. Here are two of their comments on Reddit:
“Wells Fargo has abandoned the Ratio card as of 12/28. Looks like Amplitude and Actualize will be the first to launch. No news on Trilliant and Autograph but WF just revamped pay structure in their Advisors unit”
“They are doing a phased approach. Early Q1 will be the roll-out. It starts with revamps for the Consumer side (Actualize and Amplitude), then Business side (Essential Flex) and lastly, the Wealth and Investment side (Autograph and Trilliant). Business and Wealth/Investment side might fall into Q2/3. Fargo will be released sometime later, probably late-Q1 or Q2/3.”
Must have hired the Aspire, Ascend person from Amex.
As long as they let me keep the old “WF Visa Signature” card, that has a 1.5x modifier on flights, and I can transfer Go-Far rewards to that card, I hope to be raking it in.
What does 1.5x modifier on flight mean? Do you get a higher discount using their portal or something?
Yes. For example, 10,000 points would buy $150 worth of flights (1.5 cents in value per point on the redemption side). Sadly, they no longer offer that card for new applicants, it appears.
I have a card like that from US Bank. Multiplies miles by 1.5 factor, and has a $35 annual fee. It used to be called flexperks. Love the card! Has some bonus points on it for restaurants, groceries, etc. at 2x. I will never close it!
Ratio I’m hoping no annual fee rotating or top spend bonus card🤞
Just give a flat 3% back card already, anyone!
Look into Affinty FCU
Affinity FCU has no flat 3% back card
Did you mean a different bank?
AOD.
AOD 3% not easy to get, they are picky. But it is possible.
My mother has one of these from KeyBank, for being a long term customer with a certain amount of accounts
Anything is better than “Customized Cash Rewards”
At least that’s an accurate description of what it is!
I’m so excited for a 1.6% rewards card. Will be the new best ever WF card!
Just a 5/3 better. Their card gives 1.67% back *eyeroll*
WF keeps trying to have me convert my Cash Wise Card to an Active Cash Card that pays 2% on everything.
Isn’t 2% better than 1.5/1.8%?
What would be worse? Getting Bonvoyed, getting Exploristed or getting Trillianted?
Branding folks must be really bored these days…
Getting ratioed.
Wow, it took over an hour until we got the first tired joke about WF opening accounts without permission.
Some of us don’t appreciate identity theft. If you want to do business with a scammy company, open all the cards you wish.
Your identity has already been stolen, whether you realize it or not. The difference is that the rest of us are getting something out of it instead of whining about perceived injustices that happened almost a decade ago to other people.
