Update 4/22/24: There’s now a $14 membership deal through April 30th. Stack with a shopping portal – I’m seeing $14 on Swagbucks and 17% on Topcashback, currently. I’m not certain the portal will track with this deal, but I’d say there’s a good chance it can work. Readers confirm that the Swagbucks is properly tracking.

- Auto-Renew: By accepting this offer, you agree to Sam’s Club Terms and Conditions, found at SamsClub.com/TermsAndConditions, which include auto-renewal terms and authorize annual recurring charges to any card on file or any payment method in your digital wallet for my Sam’s Club membership fee and any add-on membership(s), as well as any applicable taxes at the then-current rate your my membership level every year until you cancel. I agree that Sam’s Club may charge any such card or payment method and am aware that failure to maintain sufficient funds in the accounts connected to those cards may result in overdraft or over limit fees being charged by the financial institution that issued the card. I represent that I am the owner or authorized user of the card and payment method to be charged. You can cancel or turn off auto-renew, remove any payment method or edit any payment method at any time in your online Account. If you do not want to renew, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your membership is due to renew to avoid being charged. You can also visit SamsClub.com or any club location or call 888-746-7726.
Our Verdict
There are various other ways of getting nearly-free or even moneymaking deals on Sam’s Club membership. This is an easy no-stack-needed way of getting membership for $10. Let us know if there’s any way to sweeten this deal. I’m guessing that most of the regular deals like Dosh won’t work on the discount membership price.
You can go through Rakuten and get a bit back on the purchase as well. If you do so, don’t click afterward on your affiliate link, above. Remember to cancel the auto-renew after signup.
Update: a reader notes that Retailmenot is offering $20 back, and the site clearly shows this as stackable with the $10 membership deal. That makes it a $10 moneymaker (expired now). Use Discover for 5% back as well. Or check for a Chase Offer for 20% back.

Signed up on 4/26/2024 using my old mobile number (which is still active, but barely used).
On 4/27/2024, I replaced my old number with my daily mobile number. That number has been verified.
Yesterday and today, I’m still receiving text messages from Sam’s – mostly marketing messages – on the old number.
Anyone else having that happen?
Had a membership a few years ago, signed up with the same info (address might have been different than my last membership though) and it asked if I wanted to renew or create a new membership. Did the new membership, still got the $14 offer and SB tracked.
Any deal on plus membership?
Another DP
signed up for new membership for $14 via swagbacks. Today,I went to Sam’s, used scan & go and somehow I received $10 off . It is showing as instance savings. It was no where mentioned that I would be getting $10 off using scan & go with new membership.
My total was $45.
Whoever bought membership via swagbacks should try scan & go to get $10 off.
Looks like this may be on going offer for all New sams club members for using scan&go first time.
I’ve received that $10 off. It is for the first-use of Scan & Go in a new membership account. (It is unrelated to Swagbucks.) Last year, I had to go to the Service Desk to get the offer into my account/app. Not sure how it was already there for you, but congrats!
Confirm you need to use a phone number not used before. They dont check it at purchase. Although on log in they would use either text or email to send an OTP. Just choose email. I gather over the next few months I can go in the account to edit the phone number as well as remove card in account / auto renewal.
Email address can be one that has been used before, does not seem to matter. Phone number cannot be any of previously used one.
For us $14 is OK to sign up again. Previous year they were all free after some form of rebates. $50 is not worth it due to their offerings are way too limited comparing to Costco. No fresh fishes except Salmon. Very limited offerings on frozen ready to eat items. Virtually zero Asian foods. On items on sale, their Net of dollars off are still higher than Costco similar sale by a couple bucks. Hence we would keep Costco but stretch the duration to 15 months – i.e. not renewal and wait pass at least 60 days to sign up again. But would not pay the full price for Sam’s, simply not worth the money.
You can no longer change auto-renewal options or remove auto-renewal. That option is completely gone. You now have to cancel your account if you do not wish to renew. Path:
Account Information > Membership Settings > Cancel Membership
“By clicking Cancel Membership, your membership and all add-on memberships will expire on the date listed above.”
But cancelling effectively does the same thing as the prior turning-off of auto-renewal.

Signed up in the morning, received swagbucks email overnight:
“Congratulations You’re getting cash back from Swagbucks on your recent purchase.”
I can’t get past the “you’re not a new member” issue despite using new emails and credit cards
Also use a new phone , I used a google voice.
Worked for me —with prior membership just expired in mid April
based on comments on Slickdeal, it seems you need a new phone number. They don’t verify phone number during sign up, so technically you can use any number.
What’s the Discover deal?
There is no Discover deal, looks like Chuck didn’t cross off that info in the update verbiage.
Ah. Thanks.
I must still be too spoiled from the promotions from a few years ago. I’m only interested if they will pay me to join.
