Samsung Pay has announced that they will be offering consumers the ability to apply for and receive a debit card called ‘Samsung Pay Cash’, this will run on the Mastercard network and be accepted anywhere Mastercard is accepted. Samsung Pay is a mobile wallet and the premise is that it’s accepted everywhere that a traditional debit/credit card is accepted, so I’m not really sure what the purpose of the new debit card actually is.
