No. Official terms below, but BTW: the deal is over

You can use this card to buy our greens, but it is not redeemable for cash except as required by law. The available balance will be applied toward your purchase from soup to nuts, but may not be used to purchase other gift cards. This card will not be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen, so handle it like a carton of eggs. This card is issued by WFM Gift Card, LLC (the “Issuer”), who is the sole obligor to card owner. This card may not be resold unless approved by the Issuer. Unlike milk, this card doesn’t have an expiration date, nor does it incur any fees for ay reason. Purchase, acceptance or use of this card constitutes acceptance of the complete terms and conditions, available at wholefoodsmarket.com/terms. For balance or other questions, visit wholefoodsmarket.com/giftcards or call 866-936-2273.

Anyone considering on taking advantage of this offer, before you do so, read some reviews on multiple sites. What I found here is concerning:

I use GYFT extensivly with no issues. I use them to buy Amazon gift cards all the time so that I can get 5x points on my amazon shopping.

In San Diego they do not allow customers to use electronic Whole Foods gift cards – only physical ones. I’m confident someone else has encountered this road block. What workarounds are there? Any ideas? Thanks peeps!

That doesn’t make much sense. If you can’t use a WF e-gift card in some of their stores, why would they even sell them? How is a customer supposed to know which stores take them and which don’t?

That’s insane… call WF corporate and complain.

E-gift cards from Raise.com aren’t accepted because they aren’t an authorized seller of Whole Foods gift cards, according to customer service in the La Jolla store. Whole Foods only accepts e-gift cards from their authorized sellers most likely because of potential problems with fraud. Obviously, if you bought a physical WF gift card from Raise it should be OK, as long as there is money on the card.

Gyft is an authorized seller, so Gyft Whole Foods e-gift cards are accepted at any Whole Foods Market, including those in the San Diego area. If you buy WF e-gift cards online from Whole Foods or Gyft, they’ll be accepted.

FYI, I used the code twice on two consecutive $100 orders and it went through.
