For awhile it’s been possible to get the following increased bonuses on American Express business cards:
- American Express Business Gold Rewards 75,000 Signup Bonus for $10,000 Spend
- 100,000 Point Offer For The AmEx Platinum Business Card
A few readers have recently confirmed that the same method is working on other business cards. For example they have been offered 20,000 points on the Blue Business Plus. The method isn’t exactly difficult:
- Call 1-800-971-6736
- Choose option 1, “apply for a new card”
- You’ll be redirected to a customer service representative.
- Ask for the offer
- Hope for the best
There is no guarantee this will work and if it doesn’t then please just move onto the next deal. Looks like there is actually a direct number for the Business Gold Rewards offer now, try calling 8663433695 instead. Thanks to reddit user teal man.
Could not get BBP20k online. Froze EX. Called in, pulled up my profile w/SSN, had offer, applied, approved. So it’s still available but probably still targeted. As Brandon notes, correct number is now 800-NOW-OPEN / 800-669-6736.
Called 800-NOW-OPEN, got 20k MR w/$5k spend offer on BBP. Unfortunately, limit is less than that, which complicates my plan to use the 0% to make my 2019 charitable contributions by Dec 31st. Wonder how long payments take to post.
They pulled Experian (maybe others, will update if so).
Called twice and no sign up bonus could be extended to me
it seems the number changed to 1-800-669-6736
Tried calling but no luck getting 20K MR points for Blue Business. I did use a referral link and collected 10K MR points w/ $3k spend in 3 months. Here’s my referral link so you can do the same thing!

Anyone have any luck calling in and getting the 20k bonus offer on the blue business plus ? i’ve called several times and each respresentative tells me that all of their offers on this card expired on March 12
Judging from my own experience and other recent reports the BBP 20k offer is currently dead. Maybe it will eventually return, who knows.
I just got the business plat a month ago with 50k points for 10k spend and then 25k more for another 10k. I called in and specifically asked about any better offers and they were adamant there were none. Am I SoL or is there a way to get them to match offers?

Wow this became popular! There was absolutely zero hesitation on the part of the rep when I called, so I’d recommend HUCA until you get someone who does the same. I told her I was looking to separate personal and business expenses, and that my friend had gotten the same card recently (true) and that I had a mailer but lost it. Hope that helps!

I called twice this week trying to get BBP, and nada,was told that offers expired this week and there are no current offers.

I think you might be right. I too have called twice this week for BBP with no luck.
Just did the call and after the long survey, the CSR said there were “a lot of cards”.. offered me BGR 75000MR $10k spend in 3 months, but the “calculator” recommended SimplyCash Plus $300 cash back after $3k spend in 3 months. I asked for any other offers (it sounded like there were more!) and that’s where I found the desired Blue Business Plus 20000MR $3k spend in 3 months.
